John's POV

"What do you mean by go out? Do you mean like what a date?"

"Call it whatever you want... wait why did you ask if it was a date? Does someone have a crush on me?"

"No why would I your a guy"

"That doesn't mean anything just because im a guy anyway its not really a date i just want to go outside."

"Oh ok."

"Whats wrong with you did you really want to go on a date with me?"

"NO I DID NOT"

"I'm kidding calm down."

Jake laughed as I stood there with mug on my face unintrested in the conversation.

"So are you coming or what." Jake said

"Yeah hold your horses. I'll be back later Jasmine ok."

"Fine whatever I don't care."

I ran outside to catch up with Jake who was half way down the street

"Hurry up before I leave you."

"Slow down then."

Instead of slowing down he ran all the way down the street.I was finally able to catch him at a stop sign. My face was red and i Was bent over because I was so out of breath trying to catch up with him. He look down see that I was obviously tied and had no plans on continuing this game of his, and after notcing that his expresion changed.

"Are you ok? Hold wait here i'll be back!"

He ran off in the opposite direction back towards my houses.

I stood there for what felt like hours before Jake finally came back with a cup of water.

"Thanks but you didn't have to run all the way back for that."

"I wanted to its the least I can do."

A huge smile appered on Jakes face that exposed his bright white teeth. Sometimes I always wounder why me and Jake are friends, Jake isn't like me I am more nerdy and weak im not very attartive while he is one of the many guys in our school who is honesty what everyone says hot he is very well built and is good in sports and he is even smart. I heard a lot of rumors throughout the school that Jake swings both ways and he might have a crush on a guy in the school. I never really asked because its none of buisness but I always wounder if it was true.

"Hello? Anyone home?"

he pulled on my ear to get my attetion

"Hey! what was that for?"

"Good your listening. where did you want to go?"

"I don't know I didn't really want to come outside in the first place."

"You can't stay inside forever you have to go out I mean do whan to be antisocial forever."

"Yes I do I don't really like talking to people."

"Well to bad you going to. Come on I know were we can go!"

"Wait wha-"

Before I could finish he grabed my arm and draged me down the street only stopping when we reached a corner but he only stopped for about a few minutes before continuing down the street. We made a sharp right onto the next street over we ran for what felt about a mile before he finally stopped in front of his house.

"What are we doing here?"

"Well you don't have a car and you don't have anyone to drive you do you."

"You still haven't told me where we are we going."

"I told you were going out."

"Yeah I know that but were?"

"You'll know when we get there."he said through a smile

'I hope you know I hate you so much."

"No you don't you love me."

"Thats an understatement."

"Is it now? he looked upset after hearing that as if someone in his familiy had died.

"Did I say something wrong."

"Its nothing its just what you said about it being a understatement."

oh crap is he upset about that what do I say.

"I hope you know I was kidding when I said that right."

"No you weren't its ok I understand you don't like me anymore I can take you home if you want"

wow I really must have mad him upset "No its fine I was really kidding."

"Were you really."

"Yes."

He must have been really happy when i said that because he smiled so hard thatexposeing all his teeth.

"Then come on and get in."

I jumped in on the passenger side of the car. Jake drove black 2013 dodge charger it wasn't a well know car where we lived and no body had one but him.

"Ready to go?"he said as he turned to face me.

"Yes! can we please go now?

"Well snice you asked nicely yes we can."

Jake pulled out of the driveway and made his was down the street and into traffic. The driveto were we were going was very quiet. Jake tried to break the silnce by turning on the radio but turned it off soon after turning it on.

"So did you still want to know were we are going?" he said in a amused tone

"Yes! were are we going?"

"It's like you said early were going on a date."
