I was young about 3 years old when I was taken from my family I had nice memories of the people who seem to be strangers now but they where never really family to me besides there dead now they where killed when I was taken so no one to go back to

When I was taken to the lab I was tested on and I was forced to do things a few months later I could do incredible but very scary things such as manipulating the elements and the ability to take my fellow "brothers and sisters" abilities but It was hard and took much energy to do a few months later I used my abilities to get out of that hellish place and find a home.

I finished my story with a small shaken breath trying to stop the tears from flowing I look up to see everyone in a state of disbelief but Dustin was the worst his shock quickly devolved into tears as he gave me a hug

Time skip

I left the boys to talk as I walked around the street spacing out I found myself at Jonathan's house I reluctantly went up to the house not wanting to be a bother they had enough going on as it is I didn't want to add to it. I knocked on the door and turned to look out at the trees I was shocked out of my daze as the door flew open and hit the wall I turned to see a tired Joyce.  I gave her the biggest hug as she gave a small cry into my shoulder as I let a few tears fall myself Joyce was like a second mother to me she was there for me when my mom became more interested in the cat then raising her kids she was actually the one to teach me to cook.

Pulled away from her and lead her into the house she tried to ask what I was doing but I ignored her and pulled her on to the sofa putting a blanket over her I gave her and smile and told her to sleep after while she did I stated to clean the house a bit getting rid of clutter I knew wouldn't be important and stated making her and Jonathan some dinner I was about done cooking when Jonathan walked into the house and smiled at his sleeping mother on the couch I poked my head out of the kitchen and gave him a smile

Ahh I should have known it was you (y/n)... your the only one who can get her to listen he said

What can I say I'm a genius I retorted where have you been? It's really late you know...

I put some food on a plate for Jonathan and made home eat I put the rest on a plate and wrapped it up for Joyce when she woke up. I could feel Jonathan's eyes on me but I didn't feel like talking the day had been too much for me I started washing the dishes when I was done Jonathan walked up to me taking my hand in his as he had done earlier looking at the broken skin on my knuckles.

Come with me he said bring me into his bathroom he lifted me by my waist and sat me on the sink counter he took out a first aid kit and started working on my hand I shut my eyes because of the sting of the cleaner. When the tight bandage was fully wrapped around my hand Jonathan gently lifted me off the counter he took my hand and gave it a small kiss

perfectly behaved he said with a grin

Yeah yeah what ever you said giving him a light bump with my shoulder I left the house after Joyce woke up I forced her to eat then I make my short walk home

We are getting closer to you and Jonathan getting together very very very very close
