The bright moon had come up and with the night more secrets came forward. I had distanced myself from the team. I was in the lounge, reading Nora's journal and although at first the language seemed weird, my eyes quickly adjusted it, translating the things written there into english. "Storm is incredibly strong. I'm somehow glad that she hasn't evolved so far that she could read and control minds. It was a miracle that Mania still hasn't shown those abilities, leading me to think that she either can't or won't because of Mom. Mom thinks she'll lose Storm in the future when Mania is born, but I know better. Of course, I can't tell her that. Thawne helped silencing Ghost and I was thankful for it. Not to think of it what would happen if Ghost were to appear while I was near them." I read silently and my eyes unintentionally flashed but Storm didn't come out.

Then I read her latest entry. "We were playing Scrabble again yesterday evening and I realized that those moments were easy. Mom and Dad are always lighting up when they see eachother and I was happy to witness such moments." I read to myself before a knock on the doorframe made me look up. It was Caitlin. "Cait, I- I just want to be alone right now. Please." She nodded and sighed before she said. "I know, but it's important." She whispered. I closed the journal and put it down before standing up and following her.

Caitlin and I entered the cortex to see Barry in his suit. I knew instantly that I didn't like where this was going. Just then I realized that although I killed Thawne, he was still alive. I realized that my mother and Noah died for nothing. They died in vain. I fell foward on my knees and put my flat hands on the floor. "They died for nothing. They died for nothing. I- I didn't kill him. He's still alive. I didn't kill him." I whispered and my breath quickened. "Zoe. Zoe." Barry said and kneeled down to me.

I felt the ground rustling beneath me and then as my eyes flashed, I let Storm take over my body. I let her control the surroundings as we both had a breakdown. The ground began to shake and Barry held me until it was over.

I was tired when I awoke in Barry's arms. My powers were at a minimum and Storm was fully silent now. It was after hearing no sign of Storm that I realized that they put Cisco's device on my forehead which made Storm disappear.

"I'm so sorry, but you wouldn't have stopped otherwise." Barry said and I got up slowly. Barry did too and continued to hold me. I shook my head and began to see clearly before I softly pulled my arm out of Barry's grip.

I walked out of the cortex and headed towards the pipeline to see Nora sitting on the floor when I opened the door to the pipeline head down. "Mom?" Nora immediatetly said as she saw me and rose to her feet. "Did you know?" I asked softly. Nora frowned and looked confused, not knowing what I hinted at. "Did you know that he killed my brother and my mom?" I asked. "You- you had a brother?" She whispered and I turned around, walking away.

"Mom! Please... let me out." Nora said in a louder voice behind me and I turned to face her. "So you can run back to Thawne? So you can rat us out more and make me seeing you even less of a daughter and more of a stranger." I said, my eyes flashing from blue to silver. "Please don't say that Mom. Please let me explain." Nora whimpered and I heard a faint ringing in my ears as I slowly stepped forward.

With each step, the ground beneath me was shaking more and more, and Nora looked around in panic. "Zoe!" I heard a voice behind me call out and I felt the wind picking up as if someone had left a window open. "You lied to us from the beginning! From day one, you've been working with him. You used us! You used me. To feed him all the information that he needs to get what he wants." I yelled out in anger and then all of the sudden, the ground stopped shaking and the wind stopped howling. I turned around and Barry had a horrifying look on his face as I walked past him.

After I put on my new suit that Cisco designed for me plus the mask, I went to get the cube that Sam, Cisco and I built. Then I went out into the woods where I last saw Mania and not to my surprise, she was there. Of course, she was. She was waiting for me. "Are you sure you want to do this? You're not in the right headspace to fight me." Mania said as she leaned against a tree, having a true concerned look on her face before she tilted her head. "Oh, but I am. See, I don't have anything to lose anymore which makes me very dangerous. And now I will take you down. Even if it means that I will go down too." I said and she chuckled before realizing that I was serious.

"Good, okay... Bring it on." She said and I looked down on the cube before I pushed the two buttons. Next thing I knew was that the ringing became even stronger than before. I let the cube fall down before I was suddenly held in a chokehold while Mania groaned in pain. "Impressive. I'm gonna applause Cisco when I bring them your body." She groaned out before I landed a successful kick in her stomach that made her let me go.

I gasped for air before dodging something by rolling to the side. I looked up to see her standing a few feet infront of me. I got up from the ground and got into a crouching position before I picked up the cube and pushed the lighter button and threw it towards Mania. "Got it." She said and caught it, while I rose to my feet.

With my telekinetic powers, I let the button sink further into the device and it exploded, emitting sonic waves. Mania then screamed out in horror and fell down, kneeling then on the ground. I tried to cover my ears from it but it had no use. We hadn't tested how long it would last and I couldn't turn and ran because the pain was too much. It felt like my brain was exploding and I continued to let out screams no one could hear. Now I knew why Cisco said to run as soon as that device went off.

Mania managed to crawl over to me and get on top off me before she started to punch me. "I will not go down like this!" She yelled groaning before another hit landed in my face. Suddenly, she rolled down next to me and held her head. "Now we both die." I winced before closing my eyes.
