The Battle

"You guys stay here and keep watch. Me and Mal will go get weapons and backup." Ben told the three.

"What kind of weapons?" Mal asked as they were running.

"I don't swords." Ben suggested.

"Or my spell book." Mal added.

"Your what?" Ben looked over confused.

"Spell book. Ben there's something I need to tell you. That I've kept secret." Mal said.

"What is it?" Ben wondered.

"I'm from the isle. I escaped when I was ten and have been living here like everyone else." Mal explained.

"And you have a spell book?" Ben questioned with a laugh.

"Ha yeah it's something my mom gave to me." Mal said with a laugh too.

"You miss her?" Ben asked.

"I don't know. Maybe a little." Mal replied.

"Look Mal when this is all over we can try working something out, so you can see your mom again." Ben told her.

That made smile really big.

"Oh here they are." Mal said walking to the swords.

"Alright I'll take these back. You go get that spell book of ours." Ben smiled.

"Got it!" Mal smiled and nodded, then ran off.

"Ben!" Rose yelled to him.

"Hey Rose right now isn't a good time.

"Where have you been? I've been waiting for you?" Rose asked angrily.

"I said not now Rose." Ben stated and kept walking fast.

"What are you doing with all those swords?" Rose wondered.

"Fighting evil. You want to help?" Ben asked stopping.

"Um... I guess." Rose answered.

"Good. Here." Ben said and gave a sword to Rose.

They got back to the three and Ben headed them each a sword.

"Where's Mal?" Evie asked. 

"She's getting something." Ben answered.

Mal grabbed her spell book and was walking out when she ran into Audrey, Lonnie, and Jane.

"Hey Mal everything alright? You look freaked out." Audrey checked.

"No. Actually I need you three come on!" Mal lead them out to the others and gave them swords too. 

"What's going on?" Jane asked worriedly.

"We have to fight to save Auradon." Ben replied.

"Oh fun." Audrey said sarcastically. 

"Are these people from the isle?" Rose questioned.

"Yes." Jay said.

"Well about that Ben. Mal is from there and she's been living here this whole time." Rose was saying.

"I know and nothing is going to stop me from loving her. No matter where she's from. So you can stop trying to make me hate you, so you can have me." Ben told Rose.

"Ready?! Attack!" Harry yelled out and they all ran at each other. 

"Ben wait! She's been lying to you! Do you really want a girlfriend who lies?" Rose asked as Ben and her were fighting others.
