This is going to be my second attempt at an omega verse au. If you look for it on my profile you will never find it. I deleted that story a while ago. N e ways.

Alright so for MY version of omega verse I've altered the genetics a little so just bare with me.

There are two factors. The gender, being female or male then the rank.

With the ranking system there is a hierarchy of five(?) different types. The highest being Pure Alpha and the lowest being Sub Omega.

The hierarchy goes as follows.

Pure Alpha
M:XYAA
F:XXAA
Sub Alpha
M:XYA
F:XXA
Pure Beta
M:XYBB
F:XXBB
Sub Beta
M:XYB
F:XXB
Pure Omega
M:XYOO
F:XXOO
Sub Omega
M:XYO
F:XYO

As you have clearly seen, there is the regular Genetics (XY and XX). That is was determines an individuals gender. The AA BB OO is what makes that individual an alpha, a beta, or an omega. The genetics with two As, Bs, or Os will yield stronger children while the singular ones will yield regular children.

When a child is born they do not show the traits for Alpha, Beta, or Omega just yet. It takes a minimum of 8 to 10 years for the traits to show. You would be able to know what a child would be if you were science savvy and used a Punnett Square or give the child a doll early in its adolescence.

An Alpha, when given the doll would become very defensive of the toy and 'attack' anyone that tried to take it from them.

A Beta child would typically play with the doll for a week and forget about it.

An Omega child would never set the doll down. The doll would be cared for like it was an actual child.

Okay now the differences between the ranks.

Pure Alpha:
Pure Alpha's are the strongest of all of the 'hybrids'. Pure Alphas, when bred with Pure Omegas yield the strongest pups. Pups could be either Sub Alpha or Sub Beta. During a rut, Pure Alphas turn highly irritable and aggressive. If they had no control over themselves, an alpha would go around screwing just about anything. The fangs that Pure Alphas use to mark their mates extend longer than any other rank. The scent a Pure Alpha has is like a forest. Pure Alphas have a very toned body type, with little to no fat.

Sub Alpha:
Still categorized as an Alpha, the Sub Alpha is less aggressive but still has typical Alpha traits. When in rut, a Sub Alpha has more control over their body. Even still, they can go on a spree of screwing any and everything. Sub Alphas have a weaker scent than Pure Alphas, resembling a slight burning wood smell. Their fangs are long but not nearly as long as a Pure Alpha, but not as short as an Omega.

Pure Beta:
Pure Betas, these would be the high ranking officials under the Alphas that are CEOs. The Pure Betas aw the right hand men/women of the Alpha in charge. They do not experience rut and heat like Alphas and Betas do. They have fangs but not very long ones. Betas have a scent resembling the ocean and oceanic things. (Not fish per say)

Sub Beta:
A sub Beta is a typical worker, whether it be a social worker, a teacher or a police officer. Sub Betas are the closest things to normal people. They do not experience rut and heat like the Pure Betas and cannot sufficiently help an Omega or Alpha. The Sub Betas have a scent like rain, or closely resembling so.

Pure Omegas:
Omegas are the prized possession of the population, however that does not stop them from being attacked. Some Omegas have been captured and sold on the black market. Pure Omegas are targeted due to the fact of how fertile they are. Pure Omegas have a more feminine body type regardless of their gender. Pure Omegas have tiny fangs, it is not often that they use them because most Alphas do not let their Omegas mark them. Pure Omegas have a strong scent of sweets. The most common being chocolate.

Sub Omegas:
Sub Omegas are the lowest on the food chain. They are the most gentle and least confrontational. Sub Omegas, like Pure Omegas will run at the first sign of trouble. Sub Omegas have fangs that resemble a normal persons dulled canine teeth. Sub Omegas also have a sweet scent but is less obvious than a Pure Omega, they typically smell sweet like rose water.
