The Archangel Amari never liked humans. They were annoying, whiny, and constantly angry, but what Amari hated more? Half bloods. The impurity of their blood made Amari disgusted. It's even worse when they don't know their heritage. Of course, what God says goes, so Amari is forced to watch upon a half-blood. A demon half-blood to be exact, a weak half-blood who is next in line for the throne of hell to be more exact.

Amari felt anger against God for putting them in this situation. Why would they have to watch over this impure creature? The half-blood wasn't even worth watching, her life was mediocre of other people. Amari found it boring, pathetic and it worsened their feelings towards this person.

Yet, they're stuck here for as long as God forces this punishment upon them, to watch this half-blood. The only real rule God spoke to Amari was to never intervene with her life. Which why would Amari? But Amari was also one who's willing to break rules. Never did they think they'd break their rule against helping the impure-blood demon. Against God wishes much more.

This is what God wanted. Amari to fail. To prove they're not worthy. Amari proved God right as they went against their own morals and protected the half-blood. They didn't learn a lesson God wanted, but they learned something of themselves. The strong urge to protect the pathetic creature from something more sinister.

"An archangel? Amari.. it's nice to see you still look as stoned face as always," a loud rumble shook the ground as the half-blood gaped.

"Almath, your big mouth hasn't changed one bit. Are you here to get another lesson of me kicking your ass," Amari could feel the demons blood rush with anger. Good Amari thought. Almath was always one to not strategize, especially when he's angry. The demon roared angrily before he charged towards Amari and the half-blood. Amari took the opportunity to kick the half-blood out of the way and manifest a spear in their hand before chucking it right into the demons one eye.

Almath let out a painful screech as he stumbled back and dropped to the ground. Amari jumped on top of the demons stomach with a dangerous smirk. "You fucking bastard! You're going to anger every demon in the underworld by protecting that wench!" Almath was hoping to reason with the archangel, who knew there was no turning back from saving their mission.

"They can fucking try," Almath heard before Amari manifested another spear and drove it through Almath heart. The screams of hell faded as the floor opened up and consumed him, taking him back to where he belonged.

"Good riddance, that fucking demon is such a tedious task," Amari sighed before remembering their task.

"What. Are. You?" The half-blood seemed calm towards Amari. Amari narrowed their eyes towards the person. "How is something as pathetic as your half-blood self so calm towards me? An archangel who fucking sent a demon back to hell."

"I-"

"Don't answer. But since you're brave to talk to me, I guess I must give you that much. You half-blood. Next in line to rule hell. I, was sent to watch you. I failed obviously as I just saved your ass from that loud mouth baffoon," Amari took a deep breath before continuing, "I should've just let you die. It shouldn't matter to me if you fulfilled your destiny or not. That's god and Lucifer's problem."

"Half-blood? Ruler of hell? I wouldn't believe you if I didn't see your wings and the floor devouring that thing."

"You saw my wings?" Amari questioned. No normal human could see them, obviously she wasn't a normal human, but half-bloods powers are limited to their full-blood counterparts. Maybe there was more to this half-blood than Amari thought.

"I don't know why but I did, they were bright, they calmed me for some reason, just the white purity I felt."

"Listen, I don't know what you're getting at, I don't like you. I don't need you kissing up to me. But since I've probably pissed God off, I'm stuck with you. I'm stuck with you and get you to hell. Lucifer probably will be able to deal with you then. Maybe I won't be kicked out of Heaven."
