You shot awake, panting and covered in a cold sweat.

"Neptune!" you exclaimed with terror. You looked to your side and sighed, seeing the small girl sleeping soundly.
At least she was, as your sudden movement had woken her.

"Mmmm? (f/n)? What's wrong? Why are you crying?" she asked, before being pulled into a crushing hug.

"You're okay! I love you Nep! I-I-" you cried into her small frame.

"(f/n), what's wrong?" she asks, wrapping her arms around you comfortingly.

"I-I thought I had lost you! I thought you were gone!" you sob.

"Shhhh, I'm right here, and I'm not leaving. It's okay" she comforts.
Eventually, you finish crying, Neptune holding you the entire time, and you hear the sound of Peashy banging around in the kitchen.

"Sounds like someone's hungry. Let's go get some breakfast" Neptune smiles at you, to which you smile back and nod.
You enter the kitchen to see Peashy slamming open cupboards, not seeing what she craved, and slamming them shut again.

"Morning Peashy! Whatcha looking for?" you greet

"WHERE ARE YOUR LUCKY CHARMS!? I NEED MARSHMALLOWS!!" Peashy bellowed, causing both you and Neptune to laugh.

"C'mon let's see what we can find" Neptune instructed Peashy, taking her hand and leading her over to the cereals.
You smile at the touching scene,  and pull out the pan you use for eggs. You use six eggs, two for the each of you, since you know Peashy has a big appetite. You had a wholesome breakfast, like one you'd see on a sitcom where everything was perfect. The three of you played some games, ate lunch, and had a good day overall. When Peashy was in bed, you and Neptune decided to watch the news. Of course, your story was on because it was pretty controversial. However, the protests had escalated a lot.

"Coming to you live from the Gameindustri town hall, where a man with a gun has started shooting everyone who tries to leave the building!" the news anchor reported.

"The police have not yet released a statement on the situation, and all we know is that gunshots have been hears from inside the building!"

Suddenly, the phone rang, causing the both of you to jump. Neptune answered it, and her face became very serious. She nodded a few times, saying 'okay' or 'alright'.

"Okay, I'll be there soon" she finished and hung up.

"They need me there. It's about us, he is going to kill innocent people because of us. I need to go talk to him" Neptune says, obviously nervous. You want to say she shouldn't go, or that she doesn't have to, but you know that she has to go.
You pull her into a warm embrace

"Be careful, Nep. I'll be here watching. I love you" you say to her. She breaks off, giving you a quick nod. She opens the door but stops and turns to you. She rushes back over to you and kisses you.

"I love you (f/n)"

You kiss her back, and watch as she leaves to protect the building where you were sentenced to die.
