There have been rumours for years about a girl sneaking out of the walls. A girl nimble enough to sneak past the titans alone.
But that's all it was... Rumours... Urban legends... That's what I believed until I saw her, sat alone so far outside of the walls.
I left the safety of our camp to follow the sound id heard. It sounded like singing.
At first I thought that maybe it was a cadet lazing around outside of camp. I crept from my position in the trees and spotted her.
The girl was beautiful, sitting amongst a field of flowers a sketch book in her hand. Shes a young women maybe in her early or mid twenties.
She looked so peaceful.
So beautiful.
I know the faces of all the cadets and I know she isn't one of them.
She's wearing a beautiful lace white dress and her hair is pulled back into a bun. The moonlight illuminated her beautiful features as she smiles down at the paper in her lap.
My heart felt like it was swelling in my chest as I looked at the women.
In that perfect moment, I fell in love with the girl. I dont know her name, the sound of her voice, or anything about her.
I want to know everything about her. I need to know.
I stepped forward and she jumped from her position amongst the soft pink flowerbed. There was fear in those beautiful eyes, as I tried to step closer to her.
"Wait!" I spoke as she leapt into the trees, she moved with the agility of a cat. I can only imagine how amazing she'd be with some mobility gear.
I sprint back to my tent and throw on my gear. My heart racing knowing I had to catch up to her. Swiftly running though the forest, throwing myself into the air. Ignoring the concern and questions of the cadets who saw me.
I need her. My love. I cant let her get away from me! What if I never see her again? What if a titan gets her?!
I felt tears flow from my eyes. I've never felt this feeling before.
I will bring you home my love!
"Captain! The hell are you doing," Eren Yeager followed behind me concern plastered across his face. Damn Titan-boy getting in my way.
"Go back to camp this doesn't concern you brat,"I leapt past him leaving Eren extremely confused.
I searched for her until the sun started to rise. I returned to the flower field where I saw her. Her sketch book and art supplies lay sprawled out amongst the light pink hue of the flowerbed.
I lent down to where she stood my fingers gently caressing the small delicate petals that she once sat in amongst. I plucked it and held it to my face letting the smell make me droazy.
I let myself fall onto my knees, and open my love's sketchbook. The pages where filled with sketches of flowers, fields, nature... beauty.
All the stories id heard of the mysterious girl who sneaks out of the walls.
Some rumours say she's a milatery spy,
Some say she's a ghost of a scout,
Some just say she's a sucidal manic,
Or even a bad omen.
But all this time... She's just an artist? I couldn't help but laugh. An artist looking for a muse beyond the wall.

I flip the page to find something that shocked me. The newest drawing, it was a sketch of a figure wearing a uniform, the figure was short with black hair and tired eyes. It's me. She drew me.
My smile was beaming as I cradled the drawing close to myself.
She was watching me...
"She will come back." I grabbed the rest of her art supplies happy with this revolution.
"Captain! Where moving out where are you?" I heard a voice echo though the trees.
I sigh tiredly pulling myself from the ground wanting to spend more time in the heavenly place that my love left behind. My heart still fluttering in my chest.
