The clock buzzed loudly in Jatara's ear at 6:30AM sharp playing Mrs.Right by Mindless Behavior. Their annoying high pitched voices caused her reflexes to toss the alarm clock out the window. Unintentionally it hit her dad right in his head. Angrily he threw it back aiming at her window but missed. He stormed in the house and found her sitting at the island eating Cinnamon Toast crunch. The alarm clock came within a few inches of her face before she dodged it. "What is wrong with you?" She shouted. "What is wrong with me? What is wrong with you hitting me in the head with that alarm clock? You're such an ungrateful brat." He spat back. Jatara rolled her eyes and attempted to walk away but he pulled her back by her hair causing her to loose her balance. "Don't you walk away from me" he screamed as he dragged her by her hair. She kicked and screamed for him to let her go but he didn't until she aggressively kicked him in his private area. Then she ran in terror to the bathroom locking it quickly. "This isn't over" he mumbled under his breath as he left the house bent over in pain slowly walking to his car and drove away. As the car pull out of the drive way Jatara wiped away her tears and began her regular morning hygiene routine. As soon as she finished adjusting the water to a perfect temperature in the shower Mrs.Right came on the radio again. Speedily she washed then darted from the tub and turned it off before it got to Roc's part. The breeze had crept apon her body and she shivered. On her way to get a towel her phone rung. The screen flashed brightly as Do My Dance by Tyga played. She answered it and it was her best friend Kaevia.

Kaevia: Wessssuup! where you beez at?

Jatara: ew that was so ratchet haha but it's only like 7AM I beez home. I'm not ready yet.

Kaevia: Ok good, now I won't feel bad to tell you I can't meet you at the bus stop today, I have uh.. a doctor's appointment.

Jatara: Are you ok?

Kaevia: Yeah I'm fine.

Jatara: Then why are you going to the doctor if you are fine?

Kaevia: Ugh Tara, asking all them questions, asking all them questions. why you asking all the questions?

Jatara: Because I care and stop watching those Emmanuel Hudson videos Kae, you sound crazy ratchet haha

Kaevia: See, why you playin with me? that's the same reason-- (gets cut off)

Jatara: hahaha Kae STOP!!

Kaevia: haha my bad but I got to go.

Jatara: Yeah me too, you're still coming over later though right?

Kaevia: I forgot, I made plans with my mista mista.

Jatara: What ever. Bye.

Jatara angrily hung up her phone and rolled her eyes then got dressed, put her hair up in a messy bun and grabbed her bag racing to the bus stop. As she passed Kaevia's house she saw her mom comiing in from work. Jatara gave a quick wave and a smile while keeping a speed walk until Kae's mom called her name. With a sigh and her hands in her pockets she walked over to her.

Jatara: Good Morning.

Kae's Mom: Good Morning, you're not going to school with Kae today?

Jatara: No, I thought she had a doctor's appointment.

Kae's Mom: No she doesn't. Is that what she told you?

Jatara: uh.. I don't remember. I think I may have got that mixed up and she has one after school. Opps, but her window is down so I think she already left. I'm going to be late so the bus may have already came.

Kae's Mom: Oh, would you like me to give you a ride?

Jatara: Thanks but no thanks, you just got in from work, you need you're rest. I'll be fine.

Kae's Mom: Ok Tara, be safe.

Kae's Mom went into the house with an uneasy look on her face. She could tell she didn't believe a word she said but she pushed it out of her mind and casually strolled the the bus stop. "We both knew that I wasn't late, in fact I was 5 minutes earlier than usual. The only thing that we didn't know was where Kaevia was. If she wants to blow me off then fine, I don't need her." she said to herself as she sat down at the bus stop.
