Y/n POV
You walk out of Hollownest to go back home in dirtmouth, you saw Ghost walk towards the hole with a strange floating bug beside him.
"Hey Ghost!" You greeted him, Ghost waved at you and walk towards you since your beside the hole anyways.
"What's that beside you?" You point at the strange flying insect.
"Oh it's a Grimmchild, I'm doing this some kind of ritual to make it grow..." Ghost said, the Grimmchild flies around Ghost happily.
"They seem to like you, where did they come from?" You asked, Ghost pointed over at something and you follow where he was pointing at and you see a lot scary tents.
"I never knew there was circus here..."
"They just showed up not long ago, I think they're preparing a show tonight?"
You hummed, you gather your things you got from Hollownest. "Well I hope you finish the ritual for the Grimmchild, they look cute." You said.
Ghost nodded and jumps down the hole with the Grimmchild following him.
You walk towards your house and open your door, you went to your desk and set your bag down and went through what you collected. You found some neat things that the Collector would keep, you decided in the morning to give these to him. (You work with the Collector)
You look at the time and went to get ready for bed. You went to lay on your bed and begin to read a book to make you sleepy.
A few minutes past and you start to hear music and noises. You tried to read but it keeps distracting you. You sigh and put your book down and head to the circus and to speak to the owner. You saw someone at the entrance.
"Hello can I speak to the owner?" You asked.
"Sorry ma'am but the owner is busy at the moment." He said, you sighed and decided to wait.
You waited for an hour and you started to get tired. You heard the music go down and you started to hear insects coming out from the tent.
You decided to walk in and talk to the owner, you walk through tent and noticed its more bigger than you thought it would be in the inside. You saw someone talking to Ghost, so you walk over to them.
"Hi Ghost." You greeted the small vessel tiredly. Ghost turn around to see you, "Oh hi Y/n, did you disturb your sleeping?" Ghost asked, you nodded and sigh.
"Sorry darling~!" You heard a voice said behind Ghost, you see a vampire like insect. He waved and smiled at you and you blushed a little. (More like a lot *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*)
"Oh! Y/n this is Grimm, Grimm this is Y/n!" Ghost introduced, Grimm held out his hand and you took it and shake it.
"Nice to meet you Grimm."
"The same to you too Mrs. Y/n."
"Oh wait... " Grimm snapped his fingers and the Grimmchild appear beside Ghost, they look more different now.
"Go out into the darkness. Harvest the last lingering embers of this Kingdom. Then return to me and you will complete our dance." Grimm said to Ghost, he snapped his finger again and a chest appear behind Ghost. Ghost went through it and grab out a charm.
"Bye Y/n!" Ghost said and you walks out with Grimmchild.
"I'm sorry that we were too loud." Grimm said, you rubbed your tired eyes and nodded.
"It's fine... But can you at least turn down the music?" You ask, Grimm nodded.
"You look tired darling, are you sure you'll be able to go to your house like this?" Grimm asked, you shook your head and you heard him hum.
"I'll take you to my bedroom, you can rest there for the night." Grimm said, you blushed at what he said.
"Are you sure?? Where would you sleep??" You asked, you heard Grimm chuckle.
"I'll just sleep on the ceiling, don't worry." Grimm answered, you nodded and Grimm lead you to his room. You lay on his bed and it felt soft and comfy. Grimm pulled the blanket over you and kissed your forehead.
He went to hang to the ceiling, "Goodnight Y/n"
"Goodnight Grimm.." You yawned, you soon fell asleep on the soft comfy scarlet bed.
