Crying, whimpering, and wreathing in pain. My body struggling in a invisible grip. My chest's heaving, breaths heavy and fast. My nightmare getting worst every second of the night. I was trapped still in the cage. Blood covering the whole bottom of the metal cage. I was out of breath. I couldn't scream anymore. I couldn't cry, my fear took over me. I couldn't waste time on crying, not now. I am starting to believe that this is all real. I think I was drugged of some sort. I could explain why I can't see anyone. Fear and adrenaline taking my body from me, damanding me to sit still and wait for someone to come for me. The longer I wait the more I am convinced this is all real. I want to move, I want to look around and find away out of this living hell. After 30 minutes of sitting, I am able to take over the overwhelming feeling of fear and adrenaline. I stand on my wobbly legs, reaching out for the vertical metal pole connected to the bottom and top horizontal metal poles. My wobbly legs give out, and send me back down to the ground. My breathing quickens, as the pain in my legs increases. I start to worry. This can't be real, it just can't! I have to scream for help. Someones bound to hear my screams for help. I scream, very.....very loud.

I hear a door being bashed open. I look around in the cage.....................sadly, no ones around. One second passed.................I am shook violently by my shoulders, but in the cage I am not moving or is anyone shaking me. Someone yells my name in the distance...........

"Sophia!"

It sounds like Nanna's voice. It sounds so real. It sounds like Nanna's really screaming my name...................................NANNA'S SCREAMING MY NAME! I force my eyes open. The dream realm fading and disappearing around my vision. The real world fading back into the light. Nanna's sitting on the left side of my bed. Her face full of worry and fear.

"N-N-Nanna?" My voice sqeaks. I reach my right hand out and touch her face. My hand touches Nanna's wrinkled cheek. Nanna's hand reaches her cheek where my hand lays dormant.

"My little Sophia, what happened?" Nanna asked, worry and fear linger in her eyes.

"I- I-I h-h-had a n-n-n-n-nightmare," I stutter. Fear still present in my eyes. I lean up from my laying position. Slipping my hand from Nanna's cheek. Breathing heavily, I lift my hand up to wipe my forehead. A wet feeling covered the back of my hand. My sweat dripping down the sides of my face. The feeling of a heavy, hard, and long physical workout. Nanna pulls me into her chest. She wraps her arms around the small of my back. I couldn't resist anymore. My tears mixing with my sweat.

"My little Sophy....................it's going to be ok, it was just a nightmare, it is not real," Nanna's reasuring voice calms me, but only a little.

"N-Nanna............i-i-it looked a-a-a-and s-s-s-sounded so r-r-r-real," My sobs and cries can be heard all around the house and maybe...............next door.

"Sophia can you tell me what your dream was about?" Nanna asks. I couldn't relive that moment. I can't speak about it, it hurts. It was very real. I could feel the cuts, those people gripping me so hard I thought I saw bruises starting to form. I could hear the cries of those people........their voices.........their tones..........all real.

"I can't," My voice cracked. Nanna knew if I saw something I didn't wish to see, I will not want to remember it.

"I understand," Nanna looked away towards the clock. A smile finds its way to her face. I was about to ask Nanna what was so funny or...............happy. I looked at my clock that read 6:00 A.M.

Sometimes my digital clock can be wrong because I haven't had time to fully set it up yet

Sometimes my digital clock can be wrong because I haven't had time to fully set it up yet. I slid out of bed, my feet dragging against the carpet floor. My hand reached out for the lightswitch. I flicked my finger in an upward motion, flipping the switch, and turning the lights on. I blinked a couple of times to check my wall clock that read 6:30 A.M

I nearly flipped

I nearly flipped. School starts at 7:30 A.M. I am happy I made the decision to get a shower yesterday before bed. I am so used to walking to places, and Nanna and I never owned a vehicle until we moved to America. It will take me at least 30 minutes to walk to school. If Nanna drove me it would be half the time or a little less. I grabbed my dress, shoes, and bookbag. I ran into the walk in closet. Grabbing underwear and a bra. I was able to speed-dress, putting everything on in record time. I grabbed my bookbag, swinging it over my right shoulder. I sat on the floor by the side of my bed, while Nanna was sitting on the bed. Nanna followed the picture, in the magazine. Nanna twisted, pulled, and yanked my hair every which way. I could barely feel the pain. Nanna does my hair all the time. After such a long time of Nanna doing my hair the pain is very minimal. Nanna tapped my shoulders with her fingers signaling she was done with my hair. I checked myself in the mirror in my walk in closet. I readjusted my dress, and my sandals. Checking one final time, I looked at Nanna with a smile. She smiled a toothy elderly smile. I giggled at Nanna. Nanna always finds a way to make me smile throught the dark nightmares and memories. Checking the clock on my wall. Reading exactly 7:00 A.M. Nanna and I walk out of my bedroom down the hall, turning left and downstairs.

"Auf wiedersehen, Nanna, (TRANSLATION: Goodbye, Nanna,)" I gave Nanna a kiss on the cheek and a hug.

"Auf wiedersehen, Sophia, (TRANSLATION: Goodbye, Sophia,)" Nanna repeats after me. "Did you grab your house keys?"

"Yes, they are in my bookbag," I answered. I waved and said one final goodbye to Nanna. I open the front door, walking out on the front porch. I turned around and closed the door. I will leave it unlocked because Nanna will lock it once she hears me walk down the porch stairs. Starting my leave, my smile beams like the rays of the shinning sun for hope of a great first day....................Maybe I will meet one of my soulmates.....................and if I do..................

It will be something magical.................

This is the rewrited Chapter 6 of "Eleven". I have realized that the wall clock doesn't have any numbers lining it.

FUN FACT: I have never seen a numberless clock until I have found this picture on the internet.

I hope you enjoy this chapter.
