Final Chapter part 1 of 3: The Ultimate Trap

 The origin of the voice came from behind one of the stone pillars to which Daekavich presented himself as he walked over and knocked Sophia out "my plan has worked perfectly" as Tema tried to resist the symbol he felt his strength draining

"Why do I feel like I'm getting weaker?" said Tema

"That would be the Demon circle" this time a woman came out behind from another pillar "the demon part is a myth but quite a suitable name"

"Who...are...you?" Tema managed to say as he continued growing weaker along with the other girls inside the symbol

"We haven't personally met. I am Commander Yasha"

"What's happening to us?" demanded Guinavere

"Your strength is being drained." This came from Zannasha as he showed himself

"the demon circle separates your power from your body. In other words your soul". 

Tema and friends felt weaker as time went by most of them falling to their knees. At that point Hana finally made it to the top of the stairs and witnessed the fighters encased within the symbol and watched in horror as one by one they fell to their knees. Tema had noticed Hana coming towards them "Tema...what's wrong?"

"no...stay...away from the...circle" she stopped ,feeling rather helpless as only Kyla and Tema seemed to able to stay standing.

"Tema...wait...it's the demon circle" said Hana

"Right as always Princess" this came from the second flat-top as Zodiac came into view. "the demon circle is draining their power away from them as we speak princess. Right now I'm not only draining their power but more than that. I'm crippling the boy too"

"what...do...you...mean?" Tema stammered

"you still have no idea. Do you?" mocked Daekavich "these power's called the unity's and your fusion-drive are linked"

Tema felt his strength continue to ebb away from his body as Daekavich explained "Think about the unity's and the forms you made.  Remember the unity of faith, it was blue. Now what form do you take when you merge with its owner" said Zannasha.

 Tema thought of it and realized what he was on about "she made the...mage form. Each girl...makes a form...according to...their power"

"that's correct" said Yasha "however as for the other two unity's remaining...we don't know if they have it but we can't be too careful can we" smeared Yasha "so by draining their power, we can sever your ability to merge and improve our lord's ability. Win/Win" 

Zodiac walked down the short set of stairs and went in front of the symbol. "right now this symbol is only designed to weaken you but time to initiate the true purpose of this symbol" he began making signs with his hands to which the symbol began lighting up red and Kyla recognized what the symbol was doing. As he continued his movements he then thrust his hands clenched forwards together

"no...Master...you...have...to...escape" stammered Kyla as Zodiac separated his hands...it caused the light, from the circle, to rise to the sky above. Tema and friends cried out as they felt themselves being consumed by the light and Tema noticed something very wrong with his friends. 

Everyone, but Tema and Kyla, turned transparent and see through. With horror he saw Lucile moving towards one of the stone pillars and disappeared inside. The blank pillar had an image of Lucile appear on it, then one by one each of Tema's allies disappeared almost as if being swallowed by the pillars until only Tema and Kyla remained.

 Tema too felt his strength leave him as he felt himself being dragged away but Kyla using whatever strength she could find to swat Tema away out of the circle and towards the princess. He looked to see Kyla disappear as well into the remaining stone pillar.

Hana rushed to Tema's side to see he was very weak. Tema looked in horror as the in print of each of his friends were on each pillar. Tema tried standing but didn't have any strength to even sit up

"Tema...are you alright?" asked Hana worryingly as she supported him.

"it seems...fortune smiles on you again boy" mocked Zodiac "although your power is drained, it seems you narrowly dodged having your soul split"

"What...did...you...do...to...them?" said Tema weakly

"Don't worry about them their fine" said Daekavich "we have imprisoned them inside these guardian pillars. I know why don't you use your fusion-drive?"

As Tema tried concentrating his orb remained blank  "fool." Mocked Zodiac "you require their souls to make you stronger...however unlike me. I can wield their power whenever I wish" he demonstrated this by holding his arm up and lighting his fusion-drive red and blue "but not only that. These pillars allow me to borrow your comrades power" his orb lit up light-red, green and then yellow.  "now thanks to you and your friends, not only can I grasp new power...but now I will finally learn how you acquired that silver form you took and rule the world"

Zodiac then turned to Tema "Now first to be rid of you. Commanders, General let's dispatch of them" Zodiac readied his spirit stream, Yasha readied her hi-sacred blaster while Daekavich and Zannasha were readying a ball of fire and lightning. "now everyone fire" all four attacks were launched at the same time. Hana saw the attacks and tried to shield Tema by embracing him

"Tema!" 

The four attacks caused an explosion which resulted in a cloud of smoke. As the smoke disappeared Zodiac noticed Tema remained on his own on the floor.

He looked around to find Hana but found she had gone. Zodiac walked over to him and picked him up by the scruff of his neck, Tema remained limp as he was held in the air.

"Where...is...Hana?" he muttered

"She is gone my boy she took the hit for you and she is no more" Tema just hung in the grip of Zodiac

"No"

"well boy...I'll admit your stubborn...if only you were on my side...you would have made a strong ally" he put one hand to Tema's heart "goodbye" he shot Tema with a beam of dark energy sending him off the mountain to the ground below.
