Tema, Lucile and Hana were descended down into the final dungeon of the festival. The stairwell descended for a while down to a dark corridor. Hana was quite wary as she lead the way. Further on they could hear footsteps and grunts from team absolute further ahead
"You two we have to be careful" said Lucile "they lined this place with booby traps"
"What kind of traps are you talking about?" replied Hana but as she finished she stepped on a stone and the floor opened up beneath her.
Tema quickly caught her on the way down to which he dangled over a dark chasm "I think its these kinds of traps" said Tema as he pulled her up "the other is too far to jump
"how are we going to get across?" asked Hana
"How about I throw you over. You run towards me and I vault you over the hole. Hana you go first" Hana walked back and ran towards Tema with his hands joined at the floor. Once she stepped on his hands he threw over the hole and she landed across the hole. "now you Lucile" she too ran at him and he vaulted her over the hole as well as she somersaulted over the hole.
"now how do I get across?"
"Tema jump as far as you can and we'll catch you" said Hana.
Tema stepped back and ran at full speed he jumped over the hole but fell short as he tried reaching for the edge. Fortunately Lucile caught him and with Hana's help pulled him up. They ventured further down the tunnel with a few more traps including arrows flying out the wall resulting in some comedic dodges, they set off a rolling boulder as they rushed for their lives and trip wires which they carefully avoided.
They could now hear footsteps a little further ahead. As the footsteps grew louder they heard a loud snap followed by a thud. They ventured forward to see a large Axe wedged into the wall
"I guess the other Team is only a little ahead come on" said Tema. They rushed ahead down another stair well to a giant circular area. The other team was already in combat with a giant green dragon.
Daniel seemed to be attacking but dealt no damage as his sword strikes just bounced off. Gloria held her own using her strength while Cassandra seemed to stay back hitting it with magic which clearly wasn't working. Although the dragon lashed out it wouldn't really move from its place. When it moved Tema could see a large indent in the wall it was blocking which had two spheres of white on pedestals.
Tema knew what they were "those must be the dragon treasures. Hana you go for the treasure. Me and Lucile will try to distract it" Tema and Lucile charged forward attacking the dragon to distract it's attention, Tema went for its feet while Lucile attacked it with magic. The dragon lunged forwards from his spot
"Hana go for it while it's distracted" called Lucile. Hana tjem charged around it's back and picked up the treasure on the pedestal but Cassandra did the same thing.
Hana quickly moved out of the way back to the front. "Hana you head for the exit" said Tema "Me and Lucile will take care of things here."
"alright Tema." she started going back up the stairwell closely followed by Cassandra but then the dragon realising his treasures were gone was furious. With one swipe poor Daniel was smashed into the wall while it tried to squash Gloria with its foot.
Tema saw the trouble they were in "Hana, Cassandra. Daniel and Gloria need help." As Hana turned back towards them Cassandra just stood there with her fist glowing a bright yellow.
