It was early the next morning. Ariana woke up the next morning and turned towards Tema's bed "morning big brother, Big Brother? Where are you?" Ariana looked around the room, in the drawers and under the bed. "where is he?" Ariana looked everywhere for him but she found no sign of him. "where has he gone? Has he gone missing? Maybe he went for a walk" she went outside and started calling for him.
Tema was stirring from his sleep at the mention of his voice, he was flat on a cold floor and sat up "ow my head" still rather dazed Tema proceeded to stand up and walk but then he walked into something hard and bounced back on the floor "my head again. Why always my head? jeez" as he looked around he saw he was surrounded by a cage.
The only thing in the cage was a perch for a bird. He looked around to see he was high in air of Doctor Yona's study. Tema saw the door was open to which Doctor Yon walked through. Yona had green-brown hair in a plait and wore a white jacket with beige pants.
"Morning" she said smarmily "I hope the new accommodation is up to your needs"
"No not really" said Tema "I'm getting out of here "he rummaged through his clothes
"if you're looking for this" said Yon producing the small black band "I'll be keeping hold of it for now" she put it in a pocket in her jacket "sit tight as I'll be back shortly to decide what to do with you"
Yona left the room and to which Tema could hear a door shut "and she's gone.
Tema walked to the cage door to see it bolted shut "this doctor doesn't know how to lock a door. All I'd have to do is pull this bolt...but the fall...Might be another problem. Well...I might as well practise my sword swings" Tema began swinging his sword. The noise of his sword swings attracted company
"what's all that noise?" Tema saw Kendra walk into the room "what...the? What are you doing?" Tema continued his sword swings
"Well it's...not like...there's anything...else to...do"
"why are you in there?"
Tema stopped and turned to Kendra "well your mother did put me in here"
"wait a moment" Kendra walked closer squinting "you're Ariana's So called big brother. Your much smaller then I imagined you would be you know"
"Well sorry for the height issue. I mean I'm locked in a bird cage how much lower can I get?" Tema continued practicing "now if you'll excuse me" Kendra put her hands on her sides
""hy are you here anyway?"
"I overheard your Mother...talking about...a cure for Ariana's mom but when she saw she put me in here"
Kendra looked a bit bewildered "I saw what you could do you , just bust out of there"
"if you haven't noticed I'm kind of high above the ground. I mean it's not like you're going to help me down." she scoffed and smirked
"Why would I help you down?"
"Because I can heal Ariana's mom" Kendra looked unamused and slightly annoyed
"Isn't Ariana special. Everyone thinks she's so special. Even my mom spends more time with her then me. Ariana has all the friends she needs. Why just because she disappeared for ages and everyone missed her"
Tema turned to Kendra with a curious face "it that what you think to Ariana. That she simply disappeared"
