Hana folded her arms "It is, according to legend to be the place that connects to a supposed demon realm but that's nonsense. Nonetheless it's rumoured to be the warriors nightmare. Come on I can show you the way"
"thanks Princess. Come on Father"
"Let me just grab something warm to wear" Tema quickly put on a jumper which was laid out on a chair as he followed Sakura and Hana. They made their way to the east street gate while Tema contacted Kyla
"Kyla I need your help. Can you meet me at the forbidden sanctuary"
"of course. I'll see you there" and in front of the gate were Guinavere, Nikistatia and Lucile.
"Tema we all got a note about your mother" said Lucile
"We were just waiting for you." said Nikistatia
"We're all here to help you" said Guinavere
"thanks everyone. Alright Princess lead the way".
She lead them towards the south of the town and continued south through a field which came to a river. They all crossed it and came to a big cavern. The cavern felt strangely empty as if all life were drained from it. Tema was still behind Hana but he felt uneasy "something feels very wrong. I just hope everything goes all right" when they reached the other side they came to a sort of a flat-top mountain, it was very high but had stone stairs leading to the top.
At the base was Kyla waiting for the large group "Master you're here"
"Thanks for coming" said Tema "Come on everyone let's get to the top" the stairwell was long and steep. As they climbed Tema's uneasy notion didn't go away "why does this feel so wrong? But Mother is at the top...I have to go" Kyla picked up on his uneasiness
"he too feels something irregular. I hope the situation goes alright" they were still a while from the top when Hana's exhaustion caught the better of her
"Princess are you alright?" asked Nikistatia
"sorry...I'm...a bit...out of breath"
"hey don't worry about it" said Tema reassuringly "you rest while we'll go ahead. Catch up with us" she nodded and the rest of them went ahead.
They came to the top of the stairs which came to a circular-flat top. There was a strange symbol drawn on the ground at the centre with stone pillars scattered nearer the edge of the top. There was another set of stairs which were much shorter but lead to another flat section with a strange pedestal at the second centre.
Sophia was tied up and on her knees at the base of the second set of stairs. "mother...you're alright" said Sakura
"Mother" said Tema to which they all of them ran towards her. She noticed them as they were over the symbol on the floor
"No wait...it's a trap" she shouted as suddenly the symbol lit up a bright green around Tema and friends and they seemed frozen in place.
"I...can't...move" said Lucile
"neither...can...I" commented Nikistatia. A sinister laugh broke out with a voice
"I see. You're like moths to the flame"
