Hana came forward looking rather nervous. She proceeded to mimic the pose that Tema did. "no,no here give me your arm" Tema adjusted her arms to which she was embarrassed about "don't forget your left-handed so put your left arm forward and support with your right. Like this. Now focus your power through your body and channel it through your arm" Hana started focusing her power "then once it's strong enough let it flow"
Hana attempted to release it but the energy was rather small in comparison "hmm not bad for your first try"
"no it wasn't good enough can I try again?"
"All right. Remember let it flow" she tried again several times but the same result happened
"what am I doing wrong?"
"hmm...maybe it's the focus"
"what do you mean?"
Tema then thought and spoke "I know...I have a tip for you. Think of your power as a feeling, something you use to protect what's precious to you. I know it sounds a bit silly but that's what I do" Hana listened and tried again
"think of my power as feeling....something I want to save..."she channelled her strength and unlike before a beam of the same size erupted forth from her hand. "wow you did it and so quickly too"
"it's all thanks to you master"
"you don't have...to call me that" Tema blushed as Hana chuckled.
The day had grown long and the sky was turning orange. Tema breathed out "All right we'll call it a day. Sakura should be coming back home right now."
"all right." She looked rather disappointed
"I know why don't you come over for dinner."
"Really are you sure? I don't want to impose"
"Oh come on, you gave me a meal and I want to repay you. Come on let's go"
Tema and Hana were walking through the south lane on their way to Sophia's house. Tema knocked on the door to which no answer "this is strange. No one's home." To opened the door to see it strangely empty "hello...Mother...anyone home?" they both searched the house and found no-one home
"Maybe she went out" suggested Hana
"No something doesn't feel right. I feel like something is very wrong" suddenly the door burst open to which Sakura came in very upset
"Father...Father...are you home?...Father...it's terrible" she ran forward hugging Tema out of desperation
"all right Sakura...what's wrong?"
"Mother...she's been kidnapped"
Tema looked shocked as Sakura was still panting
"look" Sakura handed him a note
Dear to whom this concerns
I have the dear miss Sophia under my care and attention. If you wish to find her come to the forbidden sanctuary before the moon is high in the sky tonight.
P.S Don't be late. I won't guarantee her safety
"What's the forbidden sanctuary?" asked Tema
