Today was Jeongin's birthday.

Jeongin woke up to an almost empty house, which confused him a lot since he thought his hyungs would be there to wish him a happy birthday. They didn't tell him about having any plans or going anywhere, but then again, they've been pretty busy this week and could have forgotten.

He brushes it off at first, a little disappointed, but he can always see them later.

He makes his way to the kitchen where he finds Chan making pancakes.

"Channie hyung!" Jeongin says, giving the elder a back hug.

"Innie!" Chan says, putting down the spatula and turning around, giving Jeongin a proper hug. "Happy birthday!"

"Thank you," He says, pulling back and watching Chan finish up the pancakes. "Where is everyone else?"

"Seungmin was in his room last time I checked, Minho is at the shop and Hyunjin and Woojin went to the mall I think," Chan says, placing a couple pancakes on a plate, "they left not too long ago, I don't know when they'll be back,"

Jeongin just hums in response, sitting down at the table, a frown on his face as he feels a bit disappointed. He wished someone would have woken him up earlier so he could have gone with any of them.

Chan places a plate in front of Jeongin while taking a seat across from him with his own plate. The duo start eating.

"These are really good hyung, thank you," Jeongin says, flashing a smile at the older male.

Chan smiles back and finishes his plate while Jeongin continues to eat. Chan washes the dishes up quickly before getting a text on his phone.

"Jeongin," Chan starts, causing the younger to look up at him with cheeks stuffed full of food. "I have to go help Minho at the store,"

"Can I come?" Jeongin says after swallowing, looking up at the older.

"I don't think so, sorry," Chan says and watches as jeongin looks away, a flash of disappointment goes across Jeongin's face before he fake smiles, looking back up at Chan.

"Ah, okay," Jeongin says, looking back down at his plate and pushing a piece of pancake around.

"You can hang out with Seungmin, he might be in his room," Chan says, "I'm sure he'd like to keep you company,"

Jeongin just nods and continues eating, he wondered what was so important that Chan had to leave and why he couldn't come. Maybe they're getting tired of having him around.

After Chan leaves Jeongin finishes his food and washes his plate. He then goes to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

He makes his way to Seungmin's room after he's done, hoping that the male isn't busy.

Jeongin knocks on the door, hearing a soft 'come in' before pushing the door open.

Inside, Seungmin is laying on his stomach on his bed, reading a book. He looks up at Jeongin and smiles at him, closing his book before sitting up.

"Ah, you're awake!" Seungmin says, holding his arms out for the younger. Jeongin walks towards him and Seungmin pulls him down onto the bed, engulfing him in a hug. Jeongin giggles. "Happy birthday Innie,"

"Thank you~" Jeongin says, cuddling into the other.

Seungmin had been tasked to stay home and keep Jeongin company as the rest of the boys finished setting up the shop for the small party.

"How's your day been so far?" Seungmin says, leaning back to lay on the bed, pulling Jeongin with him. Jeongin rests his head on Seungmins chest as Seungmin plays with his hair.
