"Shit!" I shouted as I hurried to get out the door, running pretty late already. I had promised to care for my friends grandmother for the weekend. Although I had only met her grandma on a couple occasions during my childhood, I cared a lot for my friend and knew she couldn't afford any in-home care while she had her business trip, so I agreed to help out. How hard could it be to care for a 70 year old woman?
I arrived at her house and knocked loudly, "Kenzie? Are you still here?" I hollered.
"Oh thank god!" I heard as the door came open, Kenzie standing there, looking all business womanly. "I'm going to be late Colton" she grumbled as she pushed past me, shoving a list in my hand.
"Sorry, I, was busy" I replied, but in reality I had overslept. "What is this?" I asked as I looked at the list.
"Instructions!" She shouted back as she ran to the car, getting in without another word, leaving me there with a long ass list of how to take care of Grandma.
"Umm, okay then" I said to myself as I entered the home, not sure where Grandma even was. "Grandma Wayne?" I called out, and got no response. "Hmm..." I mumbled as I began searching, heading up the stairs to find her sitting on a couch in front of the TV. She turned her head and had a big grin on her wrinkled face.
"You must be Colton. My you've grown" she looked me up and down, seeming to linger on the lower areas. "Grown a lot" she added and looked back at my face.
I stood there awkwardly for a moment before nodding my head, "Uh, yeah, I'm Colton" I replied and glanced around a little bit.
"Come sit with me" she said and patted the seat beside her. I reluctantly went and sat beside her.
"You here to take care of me, big boy?" She asked and looked in my eyes, "How about I take care of you?" She said softly, like she was trying to be seductive.
I laughed softly, "Uhh... What do you mean?" I questioned, feeling extremely uncomfortable.
"Well... It's not very often I have a man with me, alone... The only guy that comes around is Kenzie's idiot boyfriend" she replied, sounding pretty spiteful about the last part. "You've always been a good boy though" she gently patted my knee.
All I could think was "What the hell is happening here?!" As I looked down at her hand. I once again laughed, this time a lot more nervously. "You're very kind, but... I think maybe you're a little... Out of my league?" I replied, as if questioning what I was saying.
She laughed and threw her head back, "Nonsense! No one is out of anyone's league if it's hot enough" she grinned at me.
And with that I stood up, "Excuse me" I said quietly as I went to leave, feeling a pinch on my butt as I walked past her, causing me to jump a little as I left the room. My first thought was to call Kenzie, but then I wondered if she would believe me. She always talked about her grandma like she was the sweetest angel.
I decided the only thing I could do is take care of her and just tell her no. I went back up to the room and she looked at me.
"Change your mind did you?" She asked with that playful grin on her face.
"Listen, you're sweet, but... You're like, more than three times my age, it's just morally wrong" I told her as I came a little closer, out of her reach.
"Poppycock! These days nothing is morally wrong! Now come sit with Grandma" she said and patted the seat next to her.
I stood there thinking for a moment before deciding she couldn't get too far with me anyway, considering how old she was. I made my way back to my seat and looked at her.
