"Excuse me what?"
"Those are the rules, or so I've been told."
I rub my head in exasperation; you've got to be kidding me. She was holding a thick wad of paper with her eyebrows raised at my reluctance to accept her challenge.

"You challenged me. And that means, I get to pick the challenge. It's only fair."
I scowl. Those happen to be the actual rules, she's done her homework.
"Oh I'm sorry Kain, has your god-complex met its match? I'm just settling this 'the Edgewood way'."

Damn. She got me there. Wait-
"I do not have a God complex!"
Hedge sniggered behind me, such a jerk I swear. "So rude Hedge. So rude."
He had to cover his mouth with his hand to stop himself from straight up laughing.

She handed me the wad of paper, come to think of it, I don't even know what the challenge is yet. Or- as a matter of fact- the name of the priss I've challenged...

She pivots around and begins to walk away.
"Hey you! What's the challenge?!"
She twists her head back round to face me, "Read the sheets and find out. And don't call me 'hey you', I have a name jeez."

"And that is?"
"My name is Iris you douche."
She walks down the hallway towards the stairs to the roof, her platinum blonde hair swaying with her gait. Does she know where she's going or...

"Thanks for offering to show me around!" She shouts back sarcastically, "I've memorized the map anyway."
The sad truth is, she probably has.
If she has time to memorize this school's gigantic campus then no wonder she doesn't appreciate our efforts. Her dad is so rich, never mind the fact he runs the school now, that she can just sit around doing whatever she wants.
Pfft, pathetic. We all had to work so hard to get here. And what does she do? Nothing.

I glance down at the wad of paper, she's written all of this herself? Wow, just for some stupid challenge. I read the small font on the decorated cover page.

An array of various piano grade 1 pieces for a noob like you to choose from. Good luck beating me asshole.
