"(Y/N)!"

You froze. You recognize that voice... Ethan. You turned around, tiredly looking at him. You wish it wasn't him, but unfortunately it was.

"Hey." You forced a smile. It's obvious you're not even trying.

"I wasn't expecting to see you here." He smiled.

"Yeah, me too! Why don't we keep it that way?" You excused, trying to leave.

Ethan grabbed your hand "Hey, wait... Can we just talk?"

"Talk?"

"Yeah!"

"Like... For the 43rd time?"

"(Y/N), i know i've been bugging you for a long time..." Ethan explained. "But you know the reason why. I know i fucked up, so why can't you just forgive me?"

You rolled your eyes instantly, he keeps insisting on the same thing. "Oh, my God...! Ethan, j-just stop, okay? We've settled this long ago. You can't change my mind!"

You wanted to run. Ethan has been bothering you since you broke up with him, he just can't accept that he did you wrong and there's no turning back. He thinks you still love him, somewhere deep down your peachy heart.

Fortune smiled at you. For some coincidence, you saw Connor walking around in the distance. This was your chance to get away with Ethan.

"Oh, look! It's my friend, Robocop!" You pointed at the android, causing Ethan to turn his head along. You waved your hand to get the android's attention. "Hey, Robocop! Over here!"

Connor recognized your voice, obviously from the witty nickname you gave him. He walked up to you.

"Hi, Miss (L/N)." Connor tilted his head. "Do you need anything?"

You grabbed Connor's wrist, pulling him closer. "Connor, this is Ethan. Ethan, meet Robocop--I mean Connor!"

"I'm the android sent by Cyberlife." Connor added. The android took advantage of the situation and scanned the young man he just met.

Ethan Laurence O'Connel;

Born in 10/26, 2011;

27 years old;

Afilliations: none.

"Hi..." Ethan furrowed his eyes suspiciously, then turned his look to you. "You're friends with an android?"

"Yeah, why the fuck not?" You put your left arm around Connor's shoulder, the android's LED flashed yellow for a second, gazing at you. "Connor and i have plans for today, and look, it's getting dark already. We have to go!"

"Right... Bye, (Y/N)." Ethan was still suspicious, but he finally left. It actually worked.

You started walking, dragging Connor with you. He was a bit confused.

"I don't understand." Connor said. "What plans do we have?"

"Can you walk me home, please?" You asked, almost whispering. Connor noticed a concern in your voice tone. "I don't want him to follow me... I'll explain later."

"For sure."

Sunset was long gone at this point. The night has come, bringing it's heavy clouds and autumn cold with it. The two of you were standing in front of your house. It was drizzling, this light rain wouldn't bother neither you or Connor.

"Who was this Ethan you introduced me?" Connor asked.

"Uh, my ex."

"Your ex... boyfriend, yes?"
