Loving you, was a mistake I would do again.

-=-=-=-

The dark-colored sky of the city was strangely filled with stars that night. They shined brighter than ever illuminating the Gemini constellation, how did he even know that? The love of his life taught him, and with a small smile, he got off the balcony and inside his small apartment. It wasn't the warm and cozy atmosphere that made him smile as he entered their shared bedroom, it was the image of his love sleeping soundly on their bed;

Her long black hair was all over their pillows, in a way that would make anyone wonder how. Her small hands clutching the heavy blankets, that she had begged for week prior, her mouth slightly open. An angel, that chose to love him.

Getting under the covers, he hugged her from behind, hiding his head in her hair. Leaving sweet kisses and just enjoying the feeling of having her right there in his embrace and knowing she was safe;

That was a feeling he had felt before, but now, the only thing left there was an empty bed, two in the morning and he texting a number he knew too well for his own good. The number of the woman that made him feel all those feelings and more. He missed her, and somehow, knew that she missed him too. Just as he was about to hit send, someone entered the bedroom.

"Hey love," he said getting up from his sitting spot at the side of the bed,"How was work today?" was the question asked as he put his arms around her and kissed her fondly in the lips.

"Exhausting" A small smile apeared on her peach colored lips, "I need to go take a shower and then sleep." She said going in the direction of the bathroom;

When she closed the door he threw himself on the bed, looking to the empty spot beside him he imagined his ex-girlfriend there, how she would always play with his hair when he couldn't sleep, passing his hand on the pillow he imagine it was her cheek and for the tenth time that day, he wished she was there and not the blond girl taking a shower.
