I know it sounds cliche, but just be yourself.
Don't feel like there is a certain "version" of you, you need to be around boys.
You don't need to change ANYTHING about yourself to get a guy to like you.
If he doesn't like you for who you already are, that's his loss.
Do not mold into someone else in order for him to like you.
Another thing not to do, is don't be clingy, needy, and overly attached.
You need to focus on yourself and let him become a PART of your life, not your reason for existing, lol.
As for being awkward, weird, nervous?
That's totally normal and fine.
It happens to the best of us.
There are two things you can choose from concerning it:
You can embrace it:
Put all the cards on the table.
Be honest.
Laugh it off, joke about how awkward you are.
Have him KNOW you are awkward and nervous, maybe he'll admit he is too!
Or maybe he will reassure you that you shouldn't be. (:
The second choice is you can fake it until you make it.
Never letting your awkwardness show, pretending to be calm, cool, and collected, and acting like you are confident until you become confident.
By doing this, you don't change who you are though, keep that in mind.
Faking it until you make it is simply pushing yourself to be more confident in who you are.
