SHAZAM And Athena

•~ Chapter 5 ~•

Just when I thought it wouldn't get any worse. I heard liquad pouring in the box. It wasn't toxic it was ice cold water. Wow this day couldn't get any worse. Just when I thought it wouldn't I saw Mari who was chained up to a chair above a pit of gas. They just wanted me to be like Steve Rogers and go in the water.

At least he got to say goodbye to Peggy Carter I can't say anything since nobody can hear me. My dieing wish or my coma wish is that I could  would have been a little nicer to Mari when I put her costume with stinky fish.

At this passing time the water is at my waist level. I see no hope what so ever to anyone saving us. This is how I'm going to be frozen for 90 more years of my life. By now the water was reaching my chin level and my body is settling to hypothermia.

Everything went black as I saw Mari screaming to me. And I saw nothing anymore. Why couldn't I say goodbye. Before I could do anything I saw this light and I was standing back in the old days.

This thing this force was calling out to me. I followed it to some sort of map. It seems like I need to find it but why. As I was feeling warmth again the light went away. I feel connected to this power in someway. I feel connected to this power like it's calling my name. I touched it and I almost felt the full potential of the universe.

It can't be real this is a dream. When I opened my eyes again I couldn't see the light like it just left away. My necklace sort of glowed until I felt warmth from something else like someone was helping me.

My eyes fluttered opened before I could receive CPR. I looked up and save Lady Shazam helping me. Oh thank god it's Mary and not Billy.

"Are you ok?" She asked me as I nodded and almost stood up. But my legs couldn't handle it. I looked over and saw her helping me. "Is my friend ok?" I asked as she nodded. "You have been out for over 3 hours." Vixen said as I laugh.

Was that dream reality, was that something I'm going to be in my full potential. I don't know but that power it felt right. I have to pass my thoughts once again and start walking. Ok maybe not now.

I was being carried back thanks to Lady Shazam or Mary. Until I could finally walk and fly again. Vixen already went with the others and I was stuck with Shazam.

"So why are you Athena?" He asked me as I flew up and sat on a ledge of a building watching the sunset. The colours hued and made the stars brighter. "I'm just a person who doesn't want to lose anyone else. You don't get what death is like do you? I felt nothing for the whole time but power once I was frozen." I said as he stared at me.

"I understand what it's like to lose someone you think your alone in the world. But the answer is you never are." He said as I smiled. "It's different for someone like me." I said as he looked at me once again. "I didn't tell you something but I will now. I know who you are Shazam. Your Billy Batson along with all the other Shazam family is your foster family." I said as he looked me shocked in the eyes.

"What no." He said pushing away the answer. "I have proof, but don't worry it's not like I will tell anyone I get what your identity means. If I was in your situation being in a thirty years old body and fighting criminals even though your sixteen." I said as I put my chin on my legs. "Where are you from since you know who I am?" He asked me.

"I from New York somewhere far from here. Nobody would believe me if I said the multi-verse is real. Not the one you think I mean multi-universes within a big verse." I said as he looked at me. "So how do you know this?" He asked me. "Where do you think I'm from. I'm from one where the heroes always avenge the world after losing a battle." I said as he looked out to the stars.  "That universe sounds different than this one I guess." He said as he started to fly once again.
