This is my first time so you are free to criticize me :)) Hope you'll like it though even just a bit! :) LOL. Leave a comment :))

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Other Side of Changes is about the life of a teenage girl named Jade. She and her brothers live with their dad since their parents got divorced four years ago. She loves everything in her life, especially the things going on in her school. But it's almost the end of her sophomore years, which means they will move with their mom in a very different place. Would things be the same like it used to be?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Just three more days, and you'll leave." Jiro said as he looked at me while we were dancing.

I looked down and frowned. I don't really want to leave but I really miss my mom.

"Hey. You should be happy. It's the school dance. Come on, give me a smile." He flashed a gorgeous smile, a kind that can make anyone smile too.

I studied at every part of his face. This is probably the last time I'm going to see him this close. I tightened my hands around his neck. I wanted to cry badly, but I still managed to control my emotions. Suddenly, everything faded and I heard a loud noise.

"Jade! Good morning, Sweetie. How was your sleep?" It was my mom.

Oh. Dream, I told myself. We've been here 2 months now but I'm still having flashbacks.

Shoot! I realized that today is going to be my first day on my new school. My brothers were lucky. Jeremy will move to his dorm not until another month and I'm pretty sure he will have a lot of friends. John is in middle school with our cousin. I am sure that kids in junior high were really kind. I am really nervous. I told my mom a thousand times, but all she said is that I'll be fine.

****************************************************************************************************************

Five reasons why I like my old school a lot better than here

5. In my old school, there are lots of choices for lunch and we have different kinds of juice for drinks. Here, there are only two different meals per day and all you can drink is milk. I hate drinking milk with lunch.

4. There are a lot of stores and fast-food chains near my old school. After class, I spend my time there with my friends. Here, all you can see are trees and houses. It's really a small town.

3. The number of students is greater. If there's something going on, the news would not spread quickly. I'm pretty sure that almost everyone here knows a thing about me. I sort of hear it, "the new girl in town."

2. Jiro Garcia is there. I really like him. He's so gorgeous, kind, humorous and always makes my day. He's not the first guy I liked but I know he's the right one for me. No. We are not dating, but we have something. Mutual understanding, they said. Our friends even think we are sweeter than other couples. I miss him so much..

1. All my friends are there. I can hang-out with anyone during lunch but I usually spend it with my closest best-girl-friends. They are all the best. Ria has the most suitors and admirers among us. Gayle is the shy and quiet one. Francine is the one who often makes us laugh with the awkward things she accidentally does. Dianne always wears a smile. She is somehow the "go-with-the-flow" type. Hannah is the serious type but can get along with people. They say that I'm the jolly one and that I'm very down to earth. I really love making people smile and helping them. Now, I don't know if I'll be the same person I used to be.

****************************************************************************************************************

FIRST DAY IN MY NEW SCHOOL.

My mom dropped me and John to school. I'm nervous and excited. But mostly sad. I walked to the office and there were already kids looking at me. I didn't mind. I talked to our principal, Mr. Scott. He asked me if I want a couple of girls to tour me in the campus. I said it doesn't really matter so he sent his son, Dean. He was a senior, about six foot tall, has a muscular body, his hair is russet, and when he smiles, the dimples in his right cheek shows, which reminds me of my Jiro.

"So you're a junior but you are only fifteen." Dean said as we walked in the hallway.

"Yea. How did you know that?"

"My dad sort of mentioned you. He even said that you're really smart." He gave me a mysterious smile. I know I should smile back but he looks boastful.

"Oh. That. Thanks but not really." I said.

He raised both his eyebrows and nodded. We got done five minutes before the first bell ring. He just said "See ya sixth hour. Jade." and walked away. "Thanks" I said even though I know he wouldn't hear it.

Everything went good. A lot of people introduced themselves to me. I didn't remember all their names and all faces look the same but I know I'll be familiar with it anyway. As soon as I get home, I typed everything that happened and sent it to my bestfriends. I told them how I miss the life I had there. I miss HOME.
