"Is anyone out there?" Jiang called out and Han Sheng who happened to be passing by Jiang's bedchambers hurried to answer his call before anyone else.
"Greetings Esteemed Empress elect, Is your indoor cultivation finally over?" Han Sheng asked once he stepped inside Jiang's bedchambers, there was a smell in the room that caused Han Sheng's brows to crease and forced him to raise his left hand to cover his nostrils.
"Yes and as you can see I am in dire need of a bath so arrange what's necessary?"
"Okay bi...g brother" Han Sheng stuttered in reply and then quickly left the stunned Jiang in his bed chambers, Han Sheng still found it difficult addressing who he thought to be young mistress Lei Yue as 'big brother' but since it was something requested of him by someone he now considered to be a very important part of his life, Han Sheng tried to put in some effort.
Although Jiang at some point had somewhat jokingly insisted that Han Sheng begin to address him as 'big brother' when they were alone and not 'big sister' anymore, Han Sheng still found that strange and never did as was requested of him, nevertheless, Han Sheng timid way of calling him 'big brother' caught him off guard but once the surprise left him a smile began to form on Jiang's lips.
Jiang have never felt like himself when he was addressed as the empress elect or young mistress because he believed that it sounded too feminine but more especially he understood that the people calling him such mistook him to be his sister the young mistress Lei Yue of General Lei's manor, at the palace he never truly felt that he belonged or had an identity of his own, not until his recent encounter with the emperor that Jiang began to have a sense of belonging and Han Sheng sudden declaration further enhance that sense of belonging in him.
It was like a light bulb lite inside Jiang's head thereby making him realize that he wasn't invisible anymore, he was special, his own person and didn't need to continue hiding from the world, also with time not only the emperor but everyone will know who he truly is.
Although Han Sheng might still think him as the young mistress Lei Yue, Jiang couldn't help feeling like at least he had gotten a bit more of his identity back just by hearing the words 'big brother", his next move will be to let Han Sheng know his gender, after all, the emperor didn't want him hiding it anymore but he was the one that felt that suddenly making such a huge change will cause an unnecessary big wave unlike gradually doing it, Jiang's way of reasoning might be stupid or not make sense to a lot of people but as long as it made some sense to him then that was really all that mattered.
Jiang really adored Han Sheng as his little brother even if their ages wasn't so far apart, he liked the fact that Han Sheng was putting in effort to treat him as his big brother, this could be seen by Han Sheng failure to filter his words like he use to before and how he isn't always extremely polite or cautious around Jiang
Anyway, soon Han Sheng was back again with some more servants and Jiang took that as a sign that he could go to his bath area which he did with Han Sheng and a few maid servants he came with trailing behind Jiang, also some of those servants that Han Sheng came back with stayed behind to clean up Jiang's smelling bedchamber, the odor in the room was really impressive and he made the servants tidying the place up want to throw up, most of them had to cover their nostrils.
Both the maids that stayed behind and those that followed Jiang could barely breath, this time around a lot of impure substances where pushed out of Jiang's body while he was been pounded into, Jiang didn't think he still had so much impurities within and he might had never known if not for his previous intense mutual cultivation with the emperor who practically and unknowing hammered the impurities out of Jiang body, however, the effects didn't show immediately because Jiang needed to restore his dried up mana as well as stabilize his cultivation, Jiang or the emperor might never truly understand how much Jiang benefited from their two days tug of war at the ascension pond but the benefits were enormous.
