Once she left you decided that you didn't have time to curl your hair so you just put it up in a messy bun. It was 8:45 and you hear a knock on the door. Your dad knew Colby was coming so he answered the door while you waited at the top of the stairs listening to the conversation

Your dad said laughing but your face was bright red you had no idea how Colby knew that you were there he couldn't see or here you as you walk down the stairs you almost fall causing Colby to run up the stairs and catch you putting both you and your dad in an awkward position. "Oh Umm thanks Colby" you said awkwardly as Colby hands were on your lower back and butt. You quickly stood up holding Colby's hand are you walked down the stairs. "So what's your question sport" your dad says placing a hand on Colby's shoulder "well sir I would like to take your daughter on a date tonight and wanted to know if that is okay with you" Colby said looking my father directly in the face. "Well y/n I think you have yourself a fine young man here.. of course you can take my girl on a date as long as you have here home well you know what I don't care when she is home I mean she is 18 just you kids have fun" he said shaking Colby's hand "okay we might want to get going but first y/n here is some flowers that you might want to put in a Vance before we leave" Colby says handing you flowers with a card attached "thank you colby how sweet I will go put them in my room I will just be a second you can come with if you would like" "okay sure" sure Colby said following you up the stairs🔽🔽colby and y/n outfit
