As you turn the engine over and walk up to your house you finally realize how late it is. You had been at Colby's for well over 6 hours + you had to drive home. It was somewhere around 12 am as you turned the lock on the door quietly to not wake your dad. You start up the stairs but stop when you dad says "y/n" in a deep serious voice. You turn around to meet your dads gaze. "Yeah dad what's up" "there is no easy way to say this but I am going to be moving at the end of this month back to Texas (where y'all were from)" "what do you mean?! How long have you known this? It's going to take me forever to pack. Dad there is not enough time for me to pack everything." "Honey you are not going with me. I paired the rent for the next month until you get on your feet. That's why I wanted you to get this job so bad. I'm sorry I know it's short notice but I knew that you would freak out". You started crying and looked him in his now tear filled eyes "I am going to kiss you so much. You get your keys throw some clothes/makeup in a bag get in your car,crank it and speed out of the driveway. You en up making it to Colby's around 4:30 because traffic wasn't bad but as you looked down you realized that you still had on your pjs 🔽🔽
