From a short distance, I see a glimpse of Arum with a girl; assumingly Yvonne, coming nearer and nearer towards us.

"Hey, guys!" Arum greeted. "This is Yvonne," He introduced the girl beside with her.

"Hi!" She also greeted. Judging from her tone of voice and appearances she seems to have that bubbly kind of personality like the one Jesskah has.

"Yvonne, this is Raihen and my best friend Hide," Arum formally presented. Ugh. I swear, it's the same thing every single time, I've heard this repeatedly, there's nothing new.

"I've heard so much about you!" Yvonne enthused. Right, it's the same phrase over and over again, why am I not surprised? The longest girlfriend he's ever had only lasted for two months but the rest didn't really last very long. I probably might've guessed that he won't last long with Yvonne either. I know this isn't very supportive of me as his best friend but, I don't think Arum knows when to stop. But, if anything, Yvonne is probably the closest one he's ever gotten with compared to the previous ones he dated in the past.

"It's... Nice to meet you too," I replied. It's only usual I don't deal with random people and strangers in general very well.

"Anyhow, we're off! I'll see you both later!" Arum dignified giving Raihen and I a fist bump. Just like that they both left, Yvonne kisses the tips of her fingers then merrily waved goodbye.

"She's a nice and beautiful woman," Raihen rustled his chin impressed. I abruptly lost guard when his expression changes when he slowly turns toward me.

"It's too bad," He told bitterly with a smile and chuckles.

"He likes you."

His words almost deafened my ears.

"He'll be back," He followed.

"You think so too?" I asked. Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks so.

"Yeah."

"How can you be so sure? What do you mean he likes me?" I asked again raising an eyebrow. He may be on to something.

"My gut feeling told me, also he probably just doesn't realize it yet. It's kind of obvious, just by the way he looks at you or talks about you," Raihen implied. He releases his body around mine and properly sits beside me. 

"But of course, I could be wrong, who am I to assume?" He shrugged.

"I don't really follow," I told. I never really understood the concept of 'liking someone', I can solely base my judgment on proven stuff so I didn't really know what to feel, when Arum and Raihen kissed me. If there's something I learned. There is one thing.

Life does not give you all answers.

"I still doubt it," Raihen playfully smirked. I can't believe he's actually insisting that Arum has feelings for me.

"If Arum really did like me, he would confess to me," I told.

"True, but... It's not that simple Hide," Raihen hugged his legs and leaned backward, he stumbled after failing to maintain balance and decided to just lay on the ground.

"He's my best friend," I replied.

"That's exactly why, he's your best friend. You two had known each other for like, I don't know? Since before the evolution of man kind or something," He placed one leg on top of the other and then hands behind his back.

"Best friends can also hide secrets from each other, it's because he knows you that well that he doesn't want to show or tell you anything about it. Maybe he's afraid of being rejected by his very own best friend and risk losing the friendship you both have together," he added.
