Chapter one: the adventure begins

H/c hair hung in a loose braid as
y/n walked around the house grabbing the essential necessities for the journey ahead of her . Her smile big, as she finished packing placing the spell book in her satchel attached to koda , she smiled widely at the big overgrown puppy called a bear, turning around and grabbing her precious golden flute she placed it in the holder on her belt .

Turning to koda she started heading out the door with him following behind her closely . "Well koda it's just you and me now" she looked at the brown bear then back one last time towards the house , a sad smile graced her features good and bad memories flowing through her as she looked at the old wood house . Suddenly snapping out of her thoughts she looked down as kota let out a slight huff licking her hand affectionately .
Giggling petting the Adorble fluffy ball of cuteness and walking around the side of the bear .
koda huffed agian slightly lowering as she got on top of the bear she gripped a little fur as she clicked her tounge signaling to move forward . As they made there way out of the vast country side a distant yelling could be heard the e/c eyes girl turned around seeing a friend of her fathers running towards her .telling koda to stop she turned to the man also known as Jacob , as he finally caught up with her he was out of breath panting ." H-hey wheeze hey there young l/n I heard you were leaving town and I thought I come to say goodbye" . She smiled softly down at Jacob she always thought of him as the only good person besides her grandmother in this town almost as an uncle to her . "That's very sweet Jacob I'm going to miss you dearly " . She spoke softly , " as will I y/n please do be safe !oh that reminds me I brought you a gift " . He fumbled with his pockets pulling out a small dagger the blade concealed by leather . She took it softly unsheathing it , it glowed softly stars align the blade recognizing the constellation as Draco the dragon she gasped . "Jacob it's beautiful but I can't accept this " she tried handing it back to him but he refused . " please keep it , it's better knowing your at least armed Incase anything bad arises "

She nodded slipping the dagger into one of her belt loops carefully " thank you Jacob so much for everything " she smiles bitter sweetly hopping down from koda giving him a hug , he hugged back tightly " no problem please be safe alright " he pulls back smiling at her helping her back into koda " I'll try " she said nodding . " alright now you better get on out of here " he joked lightly waving her off . She waved back until she could see him no longer heading into the dense thick forest . As soon as koda and y/n stepped into the forest kodas fur went up and so did y/ns hair slightly like as if a ballon had been rubbed against her hair causing static electricity ,a feeling y/n never felt before washed over almost like something was about to happen that would impact her life forever .
