"hey Lils I've gotta do some filming with Jesse on the plane so we can't sit next to each other" Mia told me as we walked towards the plane
"you traitor! what am I gonna do without my plane partner?" I pouted
"what's Lils complaining about this time?" Marcus asked as he walked up behind me and put his arm over my shoulder
"I can't sit next to her on the plane" Mia said rolling her eyes at me
"that's what you're mad about?" Marcus laughed
"oh shush it's not that dramatic" I said defending myself
"well just sit next to me because Jesse abandoned me too" Marcus suggested
"oh okay then, but I forgot my headphones so I will be stealing one of yours" I smiled
"well I guess you've gotta watch prison break with me" he chuckled
"you're watching prison break again!" I exclaimed "jheeze man find something else to watch"
"but it's good though, there's nothing better out" he said
"you know what I haven't watched yet" I smirked
"no don't say it" he said shaking his head at me
"come on we at least have to watch it" I giggled
"I'm not watching the Kissing Booth Lils" he objected
"pleaseee, you'll fall asleep on the flight anyway" I pointed out
"fine" he sighed
"yes!" I squealed

"hey Rashy can you-" I started to ask him before turning to look at him
"are you crying?" I gasped
"what? no of course not" he blurted turning his face the other way to me
"oh my god! you're crying at this film, who are you?" I exclaimed
"I'm not crying at the fucking Kissing Booth Lilly it's just the air in here" he explained
"yeah okay I believe you" I giggled
"I'm serious!" he sighed
"alright, just carry on watching" I chuckled leaning my head on his shoulder
"I'm not a head rest you know" he told me
"yeah a good head rest doesn't talk" I replied
"you're such a bitch" he laughed
"head rests also don't move" I added
"oh I'm sorry your highness" he said sarcastically

"no Lu it's not like that" I heard a familiar voice shout from the corridor
"Rashy everything alright?" I whispered as I poked my head around the door to see Marcus on the phone
"yeah don't worry about it" he mouthed to me before continuing his conversation
"Lucia you're being ridiculous" he sighed "right please can we talk about this when I see you" "alright bye" he said before he hung up
"are you sure everything's fine?" I asked him
"no, but we'll see what happens tomorrow" he replied
"I was gonna go to the coffee shop that I saw down the road, wanna come?" I suggested
"yeah that'd be good" he smiled
"now are you actually gonna tell me what's going on with you two or not?" I asked
"Lucia's mad about the photo you posted, apparently a guy with a girlfriend shouldn't be like that with another girl" he explained
"oh shit should I take it down then?" I panicked
"no no, you don't need to do that she's just overreacting" he assured me
"but she's not Marcus, don't you remember what happened?" I sighed
"yeah but we didn't actually do anything" he pointed out
"if I had a boyfriend who went in for a kiss with another girl twice I wouldn't be happy" I frowned
"it's a good thing you're not my girlfriend then" he said bluntly
"wow okay then!" I exclaimed "don't bother coming to get coffee with me" I told him as I stormed off
"Lils wait!" he shouted from behind me as he ran to catch up with me "you took that the wrong way, I'd love if you were my girlfriend!"
"what?" I gasped as I stopped in my tracks
"I'd love if you were my girlfriend, but we just can't be together right now there's too many things in the way" he explained
"you're being ridiculous" I chuckled in disbelief
"no I'm serious, if I wasn't with Lucia and if your Dad wasn't my manager then maybe things would be different" he said
"my Dad has nothing to do with this, you're just making that an excuse so you have a reason not to break up with Lucia" I sighed
"that's not true" he protested
"Marcus it's okay, I understand it's Lucia's easier to be with because there's less complications, but I don't think we should be around each other as much if you're gonna stay with her" I frowned
"but I don't wanna lose you" he objected
"you're not gonna lose me, but at the moment I just feel like the girl that's there when Lucia isn't and I don't wanna be that. It's best if we just hang out when other people are with us" I told him
"if that's what you want" he agreed
"it's not what I want, but it's what needs to happen" I said "anyway I'm gonna go"
