We were shooting back at them but we were out numbered.
"I love you Avery and I'll always be there for you," I look over to see Maxx crying.
"What do you mean?" I ask as he stands up. "Wait, no."
Maxx ran out and shot cops, Dan, Zach, and Austin got his back. Me and cody stayed behind.
I heard a lot of gun shots and what I presumed body's hitting the ground. The shots stopped for a second and I looked under the van.
"No," i whisper and tears run down my face. I felt my heart break as I see Maxx laying dead on the ground.
Me and cody were the only ones left. It was like time stopped.
"Baby," I turned to Cody, I could hear his words but I couldn't focus on them.
"I love you and they will never take us alive." Cody grabbed my hand as we stood up.
We dropped our guns and walked out. The cops were watching us as cody grabbed a gun from his pants and shot an officer.
Right after, there was a gunshot and everything went black.
