Well it's not what I had expected.
I mean sure, it was nice, but I expected something a bit more interesting.
Or classic looking I suppose.
The last time I visited Earth, it was somewhere around 1760s and I didn't expect the world to change as much.
I suppose stuff did change in all those centuries, since this looked nothing like the place I saw all those years ago.
L.A. seemed pretty cool tho, maybe a bit more fun.
I was here on a task tho, I have to remember that.
I am not here to have fun.
He had to go back, simply because there's no way I'm going to continue taking care of Hell while he's having fun up on Earth.
Therefore, I decided it was time to pay my dad a visit.
Not like he didn't expect it.

-

I was just walking down the street, when I realised I didn't exactly know how to find him.
I'll have to ask the humans, I suppose.
Any will do, but they can't be too young.
"Excuse me, Miss?"
I picked a random girl who looked at me in some sort of awe.
Ah, she's one of those.
This will be easy then.
"Uh- Hi!"
I suppose this could be worse.
At least she was cute.
"Do you know where I could find Lucifer Morningstar? I have an urgent matter to discuss with him, and it would be amazing if you could help."
I smiled widely at her.
It's not like it was necessary.
I was just straight up beautiful.
I sincerely doubt she'd be able to resist.
I'm not risking anything tho, she might be less dumb and blonde than she looks.
"Oh? What matters?"
Jealousy? Already?
Maybe he played around with her for a bit, he was a womanizer after all.
It couldn't have been me, since humans aren't THAT dumb.
"Yeah, I assure you it's all business tho"
She smiled.
As I said, easy.
"I see. He's the owner of LUX, it's the biggest nightclub in the town at the moment."
Another smile.
"That's where you can usually find him."
So dad decided to make a business while on vacation.
Smart devil.
"Thank you darling, you were very helpful."
I winked at her, while she was obviously swooning.
Poor child, I guess I could pay her some attention later on.
"Here's my number, love. Call me when you're free."
With another wink, I decided it was time for me to leave.
Everything could wait, I needed a vacation.
First things first, I'm going to visit dad.

-

LUX ended up being a place that's hard to get into, but I had cash, and I had a lot of it.
Stolen or not, it was useful.
The bouncer looked pretty eager to let me in after I showed him a few hundred dollar bills, so in I went.
The club itself was amusing, but I've never been to a nightclub.
They didn't exactly have those in 1700s.
A whole bunch of sweaty, drunk humans was dancing.
Another bunch was drinking at the bar, or somewhere in the club making out with somebody equally as drunk.
They weren't the reason I came here, so it wasn't exactly my business.
I've done my part in making out and sleeping with humans, but they were never this open about it.
Neither were they so open about alcohol.
Times change, I suppose.
As I walked up to the bar I saw a familiar face.
Maze.

-

"Mazikeen darling."
I said while grinning, obviously.
Mazikeen or "Maze" was one of the demons from hell.
She also came up to Earth with dad, so I haven't seen her in a while.
I missed Maze, as much as my inability to feel let me.
Her and I had a fair amount of history together.
Of course we never dated, but hell was a boring place, and we had to pass up time somehow.
"E-erelah?"
Why is she so shocked?
I did specifically say that I'll find them and that eventually, they'll have to come back to hell.
"No need to look so surprised. I told you both that eventually hell will become chaotic and you'll have to come back."
I thought for a moment.
"Or well, he will have to come back. You, despite being amazingly talented in torturing and absolutely breathtaking, are not a requirement for hell to be ran."
She looked at me for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure.
She was basically made to withstand anything thrown at her, and my half flirting wasn't even close to what she could handle.
"He isn't interested in coming back, you know it. I'm currently not interested either.
Flirting will probably get you nowhere."
I looked at her apologetically.
Despite not being able to feel the way humans do, I could still act like I do.
I didn't know why I picked the apologetic look, but she usually fell for that one.
I refuse to run hell.
It's his damn job.
I was kicked out because of his shitty rebellion.
Simply because grandpa up there decided I might put his ideas from before into actions and cause another rebellion.
I, of course, did nothing of the sort, but I was still kicked out and cast to hell with dad.
Stupid politics.
"Erelah, he will not come back. You and I both know this. You can stay if you want tho."
She sincerely hoped I would say yes.
So I did.

-

"What are you doing here?"
Well that was confusing.
Did he get married in those five years?
Who is this chick?
"Excuse me, I'm just waiting for someone. I'm assuming you know that someone since you have access to this place."
I was waiting in the penthouse, when this weird blonde haired and blue eyed woman decided to barge in and play cop.
She might actually be a cop, but I didn't exactly care.
I wasn't here to mess with humans in any shape of form.
I was here to yell at my dad and to act like the bratty teenager I deserved to be.
"I'm Chloe Decker. Lucifer's acquaintance.
Are you one of his... friends?"
I immediately realised she was speaking of his one night stands.
Gross.
"No."
I laughed.
"I'm an old friend. He wasn't exactly expecting me."
"Oh. Well that explains why he didn't tell me you'd be here."
I looked at her curiously.
Why would he tell her anything?
She was just a human.
In the moment I planned on asking who she was to Lucifer, the door of the elevator slid open, and in came the devil.
He didn't notice me at first, widely smiling at Chloe.
"Detective Decker! You made it!"
When he realised I was there as well, his face showed confusion, then shock, and then sadness.
The usual.
"Erelah?"
"You all seem to have the same reaction when seeing me. I suppose Earth can change you."
I teased, but there was a spark of seriousness.
I could smell the change from miles.
He showed more emotions than ever before.
He was genuinely happy to see a human, and he just looked... tamed.
Not the Lucifer I remembered.
He clearly saw I noticed all of the changes, but didn't seem too bothered.
While we had this small family reunion, which resembled a staring contest, his little human decided to finally speak up.
Are humans always this curious?
"Lucifer, who is this?"
There was no obvious signs of jealousy, but the slightest change in the tone of her voice gave it away.
No human would be able to pick it up or even recognize it as jealousy, but I had experience.
"She's a friend. A really old friend."
He looked at me, practically begging me not to tell her I was his daughter.
So he genuinely wanted to impress this one.
What has become of you, Lucifer Morningstar?
"Yeah, she already told me. I thought you said you wanted to talk about something, and that nobody would be here."
Ah yes, tons of jealousy.
"He wasn't expecting me, Chloe."
The way her name sounded when I said it obviously had an effect on her, but then again, I had an effect on anyone.
I was the devil's child after all.
"I actually came here to talk about business, Lucifer, but I could come back tomorrow or later."
The look in my eyes obviously stated that I wasn't going to take no for an answer.
Not like he could say no anyway.
Fatherly love, I suppose.
"Alright Erelah. I'll see you tomorrow. Do you need a place to stay or have you already found one?"
There was genuine concern in his voice, but I shrugged it off.
If he truly cared he wouldn't have left me there to tame his monsters.
"I found a place. Don't worry."
I looked to the detective.
"It was nice meeting you, Chloe. I hope to see you again soon."
I smiled and shook her hand, phasing her only a little.
So she was almost immune.
Nice.
"Later Luci."
I looked at dad, and gave him a smile.
Damn you, mixed emotions.
He smiled back, and went in for a hug.
It was unexpected, but I went for it.
Despite me being extremely offended due to him leaving me in hell, not to mention being the reason i was literally cast out of heaven, I loved my dad.
We were almost a perfect family.
After saying my goodbyes once again, I left LUX, and went back to the apartment I rented earlier.
This is going to take a lot of time.
Let's get the devil back to hell.

-

Alright! A Lucifer series! Not exactly what people would expect from a person who wrote BTS and Twilight fanfiction, but this idea just needed to be released I guess. I'm planning on finishing this one, and after that finishing (and obviously editing) all of the other stories that I unpublished. I watched all 4 seasons of Lucifer and am going to watch season 5 as well, so while I'm still obsessed with it thought I might as well write a book.
This one is obviously about Erelah and her wanting to bring Lucifer back to hell, but it won't be that simple or that boring. I wont be doing character introductions, since I want you to imagine what she looks like. Thank you for reading and, hopefully, see you in the next chapter!
