"I just wanted to say that, um... my tech-development teacher dismissed me because i slept durring class."

"What?" Hank furrowed his brows. He was nearly confused.

"Crazy, right?" You nervously chuckled.

"And you came all that way here to tell me that? Could've just texted me."

"Excuse me," Connor commented. "But your heart rate seems to be high, Miss (L/N). Are you feeling alright?"

You just groaned in response. Connor didn't say anything bad, but it annoyed you how he suddenly analyzed you. You headed to break room to get yourself some coffee.

You sighed as you grabbed the coffee cup.

A good night of sleep my ass. Ain't getting no sleep tonight after what happened in that classroom...

You took a big sip, feeling the caffeine already getting into your system. Suddenly you felt a hand touch your shoulder, killing your moment of peace and scaring you.

"Ah, shit!" You almost dropped your coffee cup. It was Connor, he was very close to you. "Stop, i could've dropped my coffee! What do you want?"

"I'm sorry" He said "Didn't mean to scare you... again. You seemed to be nervous back at Lieutenant's desk, and it doesn't look like i said something harmful. I'm almost sure you wanted to say something else to him... Am i right?"

You glared at him kind of shocked. It's like he just read you entirely.

"You can tell me if you feel comfortble enough. You can trust me."

"It was nothing" You sighed, not facing him for a second. "Just... a bad dream."

"That's the reason for you to be dismissed, right?"

"Yeah..."

"But why didn't you want to tell him?" Connor tilted his head. He's surely a curious android... or just nosy.

"Why do you wanna know?" You scoffed. "How's that useful to you?"

Connor didn't really have a proper way to answer that. His LED flashed yellow as he looked at you. You felt... intimidaded. That's new. You couldn't keep staring at him, somehow.

"I just want to improve my social skills" Connor explained.

"Wow" Your face was blank. "That is the worst excuse i've ever heard. Dude, i don't even work here so how can i be helpful with that?"

"But you used to." Connor said. " And i recently realized that Lieutenant's personality is a bit... tough to deal with, and it seems that you can manage to handle it."

"What is your problem?" You snapped, putting the coffe away. "Stay the fuck out of my business, ok? I don't want some stupid android to keep bugging me around just because he can't handle his own fucking superior."

Connor stayed quiet, then turned his look away for a moment. You suddenly felt bad about that, you didn't mean to insult him like that, calling him stupid. He's high-tech advanced android, and you were very aware that the last thing Connor is, is stupid.

"Look, I... " You turned to face him " I'm sorry. I didn't mean to call you stupid or anything like that. But hey, i don't hate androids, just to note. But Hank does, so... Yeah, i understand."

"There's nothing to be sorry, Miss (L/N). I'm not offended." Connor seems to be very calm towards you. "But... Can i make you a personal question?"
