Fragile (old version)

Part 3

Sam smiled and kissed the side of Daniels face noticing he had slipped into little space "how about me and you skip school and we go back to my place?" Sam held Daniel with one hand seeing as he was very light and caressed his cheek with his free hand.

"yesh pwease" Daniel mumbled quietly still uncertain if this was a dream or not

Sam kept a small smile on his face as he picked Daniels bag up and walked out of the bathroom door, not caring that people would see him holding Daniel.

Daniel tucked his head into the crook of Sams neck to avoid eye contact with anyone who might be in the hall which wasn't that many seeing as class was still in session.

All the sudden there was a loud ringing noise blaring from the schools loud speakers, it sounded like demon screeches, like if it was played loud enough it could break windows and eardrums at the same time.

Students pushed their way out of classroom doors, shoving one another trying to escape as quickly as they could. Everyone scrambled through the hall and Daniel kept his head down, peeking up for a second to see people starring at him and Sam.

He ducked his head back down and grabbed a fistful of Sams shirt. Sam noticed and rubbed Daniels back soothingly as they walked out of the school building and towards Sams car.

Sam opened the backseat door and put Daniel down inside, putting his backpack next to him before buckling him in and shutting the door. 

He walked over to the other side of the car and got into the drivers seat, adjusting the mirror to have a clearer view of Daniel in the back.

Daniel sat happily, looking out the window swinging his legs and sucking on his pacifier with roses cheeks.

Sam smiled as he saw that and started the car before driving to his house.

The slight rocking of the car as they drove soothed Daniel, his eyes became droopier before they finally closed and he peacefully fell asleep.
