I spend my whole weekend thinking of what to tell Iwa. So much, I even forget about Lana's new love. Tell him about the bet? A practice date? Maybe, a friendly date to comfort him? Yes. That's it.

I feel nervous as I walk into class. What if he rejects me? Tells me to fuck off again? I decide to do it now, already feeling sorry when I see him stare off into the distance at his desk. He looks like he has slept well and he doesn't look sad, which is a relief, but there is something off.

'Iwa-chan.' I softly call out to him. He looks up to me, still kind of in a daze. 'Oikawa. Good morning.' he answers. 'How are you?' I ask, not just making small talk. 'I'm fine. I don't know if Lana is, though. I haven't talked to her.' he stares at the wall again. 'Hmm, me neither.' I feel kind of guilty towards her. 'Really?' It sounds kind of relieved, not pained at all.

'You're acting weird, Iwa-chan.' I frown. 'Ah. I am? I'm sorry. It's just... I don't think I loved Lana.' he says honestly. What? 'What?' I am shocked. My heart starts beating slower. 'You played around with my cousin?' I say angrily. 'Don't misunderstand! We were just dating! I liked her, but it wouldn't work out!' he explains quickly. I look away, frowning.

There goes my comfort plan. I never made a plan B. Why not just go for it? Then Lana and I can cry together. 'Iwa-chan. Go on a date with me.' It doesn't come out as a question. His eyes widen. 'What? What are you... Is this to avenge your cousin?' he frowns. Ouch, that stings. 'Hey, I love Lana, but I wouldn't do that to you.' I pout.

He stares at me. I stare back. That is, until I hear a monotonous laugh from behind me. 'Well, well, Oikawa-san! Laughing at me and Yamaguchi, while you're this pathetic yourself?' Tsukishima smirks. I glare at him. He glares back. Despite this, Tsukishima is one of my better friends. 'Why don't you shut your lips and put them on Yamachin's?' I snarl back. 'Fine! Why don't you and your other half join us on a date, then?' he puts out his hand. 'You've made yourself a deal!' I shake his hand.

As Tsukishima leaves, I turn back to Iwa, who is still staring at me with his eyes wide open. 'Sorry, Iwa-chan! I didn't even ask for your consent!' I apologize sincerely. 'Whatever. Just tell me when you know the day and time.' he averts his eyes, a slight red color visible on his face.

I'm going on a date with Iwa. It's all I can think about all day. We exchange glances, quickly averting our eyes when they meet, but soon trying to steal a glance again. Like hidden lovers, a just formed couple. I chuckle quietly.

Finally, the bells rings, signaling the start of lunch break and the end of the boring lessons. We walk towards the same spot as always, a tree that only little people come to. 'You're nervous.' I laugh. 'What's up?' I haven't laughed so honest since before Tama's wedding. Like him not even really accepting the date cleared all clouds in my heart. 'I just didn't expect you to honestly ask me on a date.' he rubs the back of his head.

'Well, I wonder how honest you really are, though.' he still doubts. I pout again. 'Mean, Iwa-chan! How can I even prove it then?' I flick him on the forehead. He shrugs. 'I'm kind of uncomfortable too, though.' I must admit it. 'Are you not just saying yes because I have Lana's face?' I look away. It's the most reasonable excuse for him not immediately rejecting. He sighs, seems to be thinking really hard. 'Don't hate me, okay?' he suddenly sounds really insecure. It shocks me. I nod.

'What if I was dating Lana just because she had your face?'
