Day one

"The museum is soo boring!" Emma Smith said looking at the art pieces. "I know! it's all piles of rubbish that people call works of art! A baby could do better!" Jason Chase replied. "Hey Annabell, do you have a marker?" Holly Wilson asked. "Why?" Annabell green said. "So I can write something" she replied smiling. If you didn't know them you might have thought they were very focused in school but if you knew them, you would be on the floor with laughter because the people who thought that would be so wrong. Just as Holly was finishing up her note on the picasso, the guards noticed and took action. "Run!" Jake Mason screamed over the guards threats. "Look! A staircase! Let's go down it!" Rabecca winking. The other five understood and hurtled down the staircase that was going down. "They went up stairs!" the first guard screamed to the second one. "We got 'em now!" said the other, clearly pleased with himself. "So gullible!" said Holly delighted. "Whoa! look at this!" Annabell said wide eyed. Everyone turned her way and was facing a ratty old basement with some dusty old books, cobwebs, a pungent smell, and a painting with a faint glow to it tucked away in the corner. They walked over to it to get a good look. The frame was made of black wood as dark as a crow during a full moon at midnight. The painting looked a lot like a map, it had labels naming the places and a image of a compass in the top left hand corner. At the bottom of the frame there was a rusty plate with the word HAVEN integrated into it. Rabecca extended her arm to stroke the painting but it went into the painting, making everyone turn a sickly shade of green. Rabecca extracted her arm so fast leaving the painting undamaged. "Did your arm just... Through the... And you..." Emma said. Suddenly a big gust of wind came and blew them into the painting. "Ahhh!" they screamed flailing their arms. Crash! went six bodies against the ground. 36 meters away from them was a village. "Oh my gosh! what are we wearing!" Jason said horrified. In confusion, everyone looked at their clothes and other peoples clothes. They gasped and looked at their shoes. Annabell wore a blue gown with hills on the bottom of it, blue gloves, white glass high heels with small snowflakes on it, and a blue topaz tiara. Emma was wearing a black dress with flames at the bottom of it, a ruby tiara, and orange heels with flames. Rabecca had a white gown with little wind symbols at the bottom, clear glass heels, and a glass tiara. Holly wore a long blue dress with waves on the bottom and a silky blue long sleeved coat trimmed with white fuzz, and a blue opal tiara. Jason was wearing his usual clothes, jeans with a black t-shirt and gray converse but now he was wearing a electricity yellow crown. Jake wore his normal stuff, a green shirt with dirt stains and muddy jeans with purple running shoes, but he now had an incredible twig crown. Then they all noticed the village and walked to it. They walked around and found a blacksmith and a bakery. They also found a library and a farm. "Hello! I'm Mary! Welcome to Farushalum! Who are you?" One of the villagers beammed. They looked around and saw the villager and introduced themselves. Mary walked up to them but tripped over a rock, dropping her bag of apples and tearing her dress. She took out a sewing kit and the dress became good as new. The group told Mary they would help and each picked up an apple. When they were holding them their hands started to tingle. Suddenly Holly's turned into water, Emma's was flames, Annabell's was solid ice, Rabecca's was turned into a tornado the size of a fist, Jake's became dirt, and Jason's was a little lightning storm the same size as Rabecca's mini tornado. Mary's face grew pale white and she broke into a silent prayer. She started to wail and cry yelling, "Its come true! No why! lord please guide them the right way!". "Come, come quickly! you have to get packed!" She said pulling them to a small cottage. Once they were in the cottage she thrusted a little bag out to each of them. She then gave Annabell a rolled up map. "Open it up" She ordered with nothing telling you that she was not serious. Obediently she opened it. "Seek the traveling tradesman in Ogre woods he'll know what to do.

 

To find him you must for a small nature trail,

But if all goes right you will fail.

And to unlock the secrets he holds,

you must give him all your riches and golds.

That is all I can say" Mary said blinking really hard. Mary had three tan stallions take them to Ogre woods. As soon as the six arrived at the border and got off the horses, they galloped away. When they (the six) walked a mile into the woods they saw a trail of mushrooms. "A nature trail!" They said excitedly. They followed it and came across an old little wood house. Inside it was an old man. Then they realized that they had no money. They looked around frantically and saw a gold coin so they picked it up. Knock! Knock! Knock! went six fists in unison. The door opened and a hand came out of the small opening. They walked up to it and put the coin on the hand. Then the hand pulled itself out of the opening and opened it fully revealing an old little man. He wore a wizards hat that was navy blue and a matching cloak that had little white stars on it but the stars looked so old that they looked on the yellow side. The man held a twig up that looked like a wand. "Hello, approach seeker and ask" the little man said. They stepped into the old wooden caravan and began, "We were at an art museum and found a painting. We fell into it and ended up here wearing this. We saw a town so we went to it. We met a lady named Mary who said she lived in a town called Farushalum, she dropped her apples and each one of us grabbed one. Ours turned into a tornado, water, ice, flames, dirt, and a lightning storm. Mary told us to find you". Once they finished, the tradesman's eyes were huge.  "Oh no, Mary never sends anyone to me and you seem to have the powers. She must have thought that the legend was true and if it is, she must have been worried that you wouldn't take the right path, if it's coming true then we might be in grave danger or in great conquest" He said while rummaging through books, then began again, "Now legend has it six heroes will go on a quest for a lost item that can only be built when the heroes conquer their fears. It also says that you will destroy or help the nightmare queen, she is the evilest villain there ever was. Ah! here it is!" he exclaimed pulling out a book an on the cover was the title "Wands, Potions, and Spells". "The wand of wonderment, I am an old wizard but I know this is what the quest is for. It grants three wishes but two have already been used and you cannot wish for more wishes. You can wish to go home and destroy our world or save it but never see your families. In the other world where do you live?" The old man asked. "We live in Phoenix, Arizona why?" They replied. "Because I'm from the other world too. I used to live there and was engaged to a lady by the name of lucinda, lucinda luck" He answered. "I will give you the horn of plenty, it serves any type of food now be on your way" he said shooing them out of the caravan. Stomp! went their feet for three miles. "Guys, the moon's rising, we should crash for the night" Jason said and that's when Annabell started to cry. "What's wrong?" Holly asked. "I've never had a sleepover and I am terrified!". "Hey, I miss home too but think, when we collect the pieces for the wand we'll get to go home" Rabecca said rubbing Annabell's arm. "If we have to face our fears, what are our fears? mine's mazes" Jake said. "Spiders" Annabell answered. "Sharks" Holly said. "Witches" Rabecca replied. "Underground" told Emma. "Sea monsters" Jason shuddered. Jake looked down at the map and said, "I'll go to the shifting maze, Annabell is the web realm, Holly is shark lagoon, Jake is sea monster sea, Rabecca is the witches lair, and I have no clue what Emma's is". "let's go to Rabecca's first, then Holly's, then Annabell's, Next to Jake's, then Mine, and to Emma's" Jason said. "Ok" they replied and set off for sleep.
