Chapter 10

Maya was getting her phone when she heard a knock.

"Come in," said Maya.
"Hey. Can I bother?" Auggie asked and Maya sat down on her bed.
"Of course Auggie. How are ya?" Maya asked and saw he had zoem thing in his hand.
"Okay. I have something for you," Auggie said.
"Yes?" Maya asked and Auggie gave her a box.

She opened it and saw it was a picture of the two of them.

"Oh Auggie."
"It's something to remember me by," Auggie said and tears came out of Maya's eyes.

She quickly wiped it away and smiled.

"Thank you Buddy," Maya said and gave him a hug.
"Better get going," Auggie said.
"See ya later," Maya said and went in front.

"Oh chihuahua," Katy said.
"What?" Maya asked.
"Sure you wanna wear that?" Shawn said and Maya shook her head.
"Yes. I better get going," Maya said.

"You can take my car," Topanga said.
"Thanks Mrs Matthews. I'll see you guys later."

Maya knew what place they were going to be at but didn't like it.
Well she liked it a little less but also a little more than last time.

"She here yet?" Farkle asked and Riley saw Maya.
"There she is," Lucas said.

"Trying to impress someone?" Riley asked as Maya walked to them.
"My flight is at two so I have to be on the airport at midnight," Maya said.
"I'll take you at eleven," Josh said and Maya smiled.
"How about a song?" Riley asked.
"Yeah. I think that will lighting up everyone's mood too," Lucas said.
"Okay. Let's see what they've got," Maya said and went to the DJ.

She told him something in his ear and he signaled the band to start.

Rushing to grow up before you know.

"Amazing. Okay. Drinks," Riley said.
"You wanna go for a walk?" Josh asked.
"Sure," Maya said.
"We'll be right back," Josh said and took Maya's hand.

"Riley is going to go crazy," Josh said.
"No kidding," Maya said laughing.
CSo how do you feel about.... "
"I feel bad about lying to you," Maya interrupted Josh.
"It's okay. You probable believed you would stay," Josh said.
"I really wished I could. Cause I kinda knew it would happen."
"Yeah. So what are you going to do in Paris now?" Josh asked.
"Photography just like my dad wanted," Maya said.
"Like it?" Josh asked.
"Well they don't think singing is a good thing so I have to do something else," Maya said.
"Anyway. You are probably going to enjoy it. I'm doing it self."
"Really?" Maya asked.

She was surprised that Shawn, she and Josh were into photos.

"Yeah. Looks like we at least specialize in the same career."
"It's good," Maya said.
"Okay we better get back," Josh said.

"Hey. Shots," Riley said and putted gin down.
"Whoa Riley. Sorry but I can't drink these stuff," Maya said.
"Same here," Josh agreed with Maya.
"More for us," Riley said and swallowed the first shooter.

"You are mad," Maya said.
"Orange juice?" Josh asked.
"Please."
"Two orange juices please."
"How you feeling about flying?" Josh asked.
"Nerves. My life has been in Paris for so long I'm actually starting to get used to it."

It was about a few hours later and Maya didn't like what she was seeing from Riley.

"Okay I think my niece is drunk," Josh said.
"Luckily she's Lucas' baby tonight."
"Do you really hate it that much in Paris?" Josh asked and Maya shook her head.
"It's not New York. That's for sure," Maya said and finished her juice.
"Maya."
"I miss all my friends here. I miss you," Maya said and Josh knew it isn't easy for her.
"I miss you too. But if you knew you wouldn't stay..."
"I know and I'm extremely sorry," Maya said.
"You don't have to be sorry Maya."
"Yeah."
"I better get you to the airport before she gets out of hand," Josh said.

"Okay guys. I have to get going," Maya said.
"Safe flight," Zay said and gave her a hug.
"Bye Zay."
"I expect you to call at least once a month. Really," Farkle said.
"Bye Farkle. Take care of him Smackle."
"Always. Bye," Smackle said.
"Bye," Maya said and looked at Lucas.

"And you... Take care of Riley. She is going to need it," Maya said.
"I will. Bye," Lucas said.
"Bye Lucas," Maya said and gave him a hug.
"Okay. Think I am going to do it while I'm still sober," Riley said.
"Bye Riley."
"Bye," Riley said and gave her a hug.
"Okay. I love you guys," Maya said.
"And we love you," Riley said.

"I just need to say bye to your brother," Maya said to Josh.
"Okay."

"Hey. Shawn and your mom already left," Topanga said.
"I know. I just came to say goodbye," Maya said.
"Take care," Topanga said and gave her a hug.
"I will," Maya said and gave Cory a hug.
"Hopefully we'll here from you," Cory said.
"Of course. Where's Auggie?" Maya asked.

"Maya."
"Hey buddy," Maya said and went down to her knees.
"Came to say bye?" Auggie asked and Maya nodded.
"Yeah. Take care of Riley and your mom and dad," Maya said.
"I will," Auggie said and Maya gave him a hug.

"Okay. Let's go," Josh said cutting it short.
"Love you guys."
"Love you too," Cory said and Josh drove to the airport.

"There you go," Josh said and saw tears were burning in her eyes.
"Hey. Everything is going to be okay," Josh said.
"I know."
"Bye Maya."
"Bye Josh," Maya said and gave him a hug.

To say the truth he is the one person who she'll miss the most.

"Someday?" Josh asked and Maya smiled.
"Someday. See ya," Maya said and went off.

"Hey. You are almost late," Shawn said.
"Still have ten minutes," Maya said and wiped her tears away.
"You okay?" Katy asked.
"Yes. Yes I am. Let's go," Maya said.

And there yet another adventure began for the Hunters.
But nobody knows if it will be good or bad.
