• 10:48 AM • Luke's house •

The door to the basement opened and Timothy jolted awake

"Rise and shine darling"

"Sasha is on her way here, she'll take care of you while I'm at work"

Timothy didn't like that idea and for whatever reason he decided to speak up

"..don't..don't go"

"I have to be there at 11 o'clock. I'll be right back, I promise, I just have to run into work for a few hours"

"What time is it now?"

"10:48"

That told Timothy one of two things

that his work place wasn't too far

Which meant civilization wasn't too far

Or Luke was just destined to be late for work

He smiled wide as he un cuffed Timothy but was clearly upset when he saw Timothy's wrists

"Didn't I tell you to stop struggling?"

"I was scared..you left me in a cold, dark basement"

Luke realized his mistake

"Oh baby, I'm..sorry"

He carried Timothy upstairs as he was too weak to stand

He tended to Timothy's wounds

Then Sasha arrived and Luke left for work

Sasha made him breakfast and it wasn't burnt, it tasted like heaven to Timothy

"Sasha..is..his job far from here?"

She shook her head no

"Not really, no"

That meant he might be able to walk the distance

He smiled

"If I go to sleep..would you hold me?"

"I'm not even supposed to speak your name, let alone hold you while you rest"

"..Please..I just want to pretend you're my mom"

Sasha sighed

"I could get into a lot of trouble for this"

She took him to the room with a sign that said 'our room'

"Luke should be home around 1 o'clock. So make this nap quick"

They laid together and as Timothy slept, Sasha held him close

The front door opened

Luke had arrived back home

But Sasha had fallen asleep with Timothy

He yelled to get Timothy's attention

"Baby! I'm home!"

The two of them were now awake

And both of them were panicking

Timothy could get chained up again in the basement

And Sasha could get killed for this

But there was no where to hide
