In the Eyes of Death

• 12:54 PM •  Timothy's house •

That morning Timothy was in a hurry to get to work on time. He quickly brushed his teeth and rushed out the door

Once he arrived at Kroger he immediately was scolded by his boss.

"Timothy, you're late"

Timothy sighed and nodded

"Sorry, Ian, it won't happen again. I swear"

Ian smiled

"It's okay, Timothy"

He frowned "you're sure it's okay?"

"I'm positive, you work hard and I'm proud to have you here..hey are you busy tonight?"

Timothy pretended to be in deep thought

"Yes, actually, I have dinner plans with my parents. It's..my dad's birthday"

With that Ian walked off and Timothy got to work

Once Timothy got home he changed out of his uniform and into comfortable clothes. He sat down on the couch and watched the news. Not because it was interesting but because it helped him sleep.

He was quite comfortable but just as he was drifting off to sleep he got a phone call.

He saw the caller ID and answered it

"Hello"

"Timothy, baby, we've missed you"

"I know mom..I miss you and dad too"

"you should come visit"

"Mom, I've been busy lately and I just don't have the time"

"You don't have the time for your own family?"

"That's not what I'm saying-"

"That's what it sounds like"

Timothy got frustrated and hung up

His phone rung again and he groaned

"Mom, I told you I don't have the time"

All he heard was breathing

Heavy breathing

"Mom?..I'm sorry I hung up on you"

After awhile he hung up, getting creeped out

He eventually fell right asleep

• 5: 26 AM • Timothy's house •

Timothy awoke to a news segment

"Next up, we'd like to discuss a tragedy. Kroger manger, Ian Silps found murdered in his own home..police say he was stabbed 16 times and got massive head inquiries after being hit over the head with a bat 7 times repeatedly. Cause of death, loss of blood. Here's a message from his family"

"We just want to say..Ian was an amazing person, he loved to swim and he liked being social"

The family member chuckled

"Ian even had a major crush on one of his employees...He never shut up about Timothy"

She teared up

"we could never forget him..and whoever did this..will be caught"

Timothy covered his mouth in shock and he started to cry as the segment ended
