3rd Person POV
[New Domino City. Its people was separated into two groups: Commoners and Top-siders. It was basically the strong preyed on the weak. It was survival of the fittest. A young boy was hanging with his friends. Another boy was working on his duel runner. A little girl ran in giving the other boy a microchip that could make his duel runner work better. Suddenly the sounds of Sector Security was heard. The little boy saw the other about to leave on his duel runner]
Boy: Where are you going, Yusei?
Yusei: I'm going to make sure that Riley doesn't get caught.
Boy: You're nuts! You can't do it by yourself! Let me help you!
Yusei: I don't think and empty duel disk can help.
[The boy realized that Yusei was right. The boy had found the duel disk lying in the street but there was no deck inside. He didn't have one of his own either. He looked down and nodded as Yusei drove away. The boy was determined though that he wasn't going to left out of the action. He decided to follow Yusei. Yusei faced off in a duel against Officer Trudge. Yusei won. The boy wished to be like Yusei someday. He wanted to rise from the commoners like Jack Atlas. But he couldn't do that with an empty duel disk. He heads home but sees a duel runner break down with two riders. Sector Security had them surrounded. The boy couldn't stand there and let it happen. He intervened]
Boy: Leave the alone!
Sector Security: You stay out of this, boy! This doesn't concern you! Unless you want to end up in the facility like these two.
[The officer grabs one of the riders who is revealed to be a girl with green air. She screams. This enraged the boy]
Boy: LEAVE HER ALONE!
Sector Security: What are you going to do about it?
[Without even thinking, the boy answered]
Boy: I'll duel you!
[The boy activated his duel disk but then quickly realized that he made a huge mistake. How was he going to protect this girl and her friend? He had no deck and he wasn't going to ask to borrow one of theirs]
Boy: Please! Someone help me help them!
[A bright light shined from the boy's duel disk. When the light faded, a deck appeared inside the duel disk. The boy had no idea where it came from but now wasn't the time to worry about it. It was time to duel!]
