Resentment

I'd Resented the day
I'd Resented the night
I'd resented my life
I'd Resented my sight

Had I gone deaf , I'd not even mind. Had I leapt off the cliff side I'm sure no one would cry and if they did they'd soon be fine . Above all else i resented my birth, the seed which had  sprouted the day of my conception. I was cursed I would say , cue the dramatics , I must have been cursed by the gods .

As they lay in the clouds placing their bets, their gambles on my next move, I was cinema the finest of entertainment I the only one unamused.

Zeus had laughed at my tears, Allah had cheered me along , Christ had put up a wager  even Buddha had joined in the fun

I resented the lot , the holy crew , the hypocrites and their supporters . I'd resented it all ,till it all had one more you'll always resent what you long

Soon I placed bets and laughed at the masses and cheered the poor bastards on . In their faces I saw the resentment that I'd  bore so fiercely. watching their tears stream down their faces as they cursed my name profusely. The shoe had seen the other foot resentment no longer mine to bear, resentment found another host , they'd made quite a pair.
