Three years later.

"I swear to god if you don't get yo crusty feet off me right now!" Honey yelled. Aaliyah laughed hysterically because she knew she was getting under Honey's skin. "Liyah I'm just tryna study and you know how much this is worth." Honey said. You could tell she was frustrated which would eventually lead to her getting mad. And you didn't want her mad. "Fine. I'll leave you alone." Aaliyah said. She got up and walked off into the kitchen.

Finally some alone time. Honey thought to herself. She had a midterm coming up and she couldn't fail it. She already had a slipping grade in that class and could no longer afford any more F's. It was stupid for her to try to fix it at the last minute. But at least she's trying.

"Heeeey bitch." Nyla said walking into the room with Aaliyah. "Oh my fucking god a minute of peace is all I asked for." Honey said. "And Please tell me you didn't bring Kehlani with you." Honey added rolling her eyes. "Okay first of all don't ever do my daughter. And I didn't. She's somewhere with that nappy headed ass daddy of hers." Nyla said sitting on the bed. "You know I love my niece but I don't have the patience for kids right now. You see Mj and Jaden are nowhere to be found." Honey said.

"Yeah I see that. But is it because you don't wanna be bothered with them.. or Marcus?" Nyla asked. "I- See Ny this what I mean don't even go there!" Honey said throwing her pen at her. All the girls laughed. "We're just teasing you. We know you love having your nieces and nephews around. Even Cody's bad ass." Aaliyah said. "Oh lord don't speak his name. Cause next thing you know Mehki will be walking in the door with him." Nyla said. "Right and plus I don't need the Mehki and Nahmir drama right now. This is a positive atmosphere and I'd like to keep it that way." Honey said.

"Well I might as well not tell you this tea." Nyla said. "See I didn't say all that. What tea?" Honey asked. "I'll tell y'all. But Aaliyah you gotta promise to not get mad and go crazy again." Nyla said. "Yeah yeah I promise. Now come on." Liyah said. "Welllll I was out last night getting my drink on ayeeeeeee." Ny said doing a lil twerk. "Okay then what?" Aaliyah said. "And guess who I fucking seen leaving the club together." Nyla said with widened eyes. "Whoo?" Honey and Aaliyah asked in sync. "Fucking Jason and Aijah." Ny said. Honeys mouth hung wide open while Aaliyah sat there trying to act as if she didn't give a fuck.

It was working. Because the outside screamed "Wow that's shocking." While the inside screamed. "I'm finna kill him and that bitch." Aaliyah shook her head. "I'm not even surprised. You know how Aijah thot ass is and you know Jay will fuck anything walking. It's on him if he catches something." She said. "Don't be mad Liyah. She don't mean nun to him but pussy. You know the only thing he care about these days is work." Nyla said. "Exactly. I really can't believe he went from being your boyfriend to being one of the biggest drug lords in the city." Honey said. "One of the biggest hoes too." Nyla mumbled. "Yeah. I guess you could say things change. People change. Feelings change too." Liyah said quoting a verse that she felt a lil too hard.

"Y'all were really in love. I mean y'all was in love love like-." Nyla was cut off. "Yeah I get it bitch." Aaliyah said. "I just miss him sometimes. But he's not the Jay I fell in love with years ago." Liyah said. "Well look on the bright side. You guys broke up, but you still see him around. He's one phone call away. One visit away." Honey said. It got quiet. "Yeah I guess you're right." Liyah said.

"Hey tete." Mj said as honey walked into Marcus living room. "Hey. Where's your brother?" She asked. "He taking a nap. He a baby." Mj said. Honey chuckled. "Okay well where's your dad?" She asked. "Do I look like I know?" Mj said. Honey looked at him like he was crazy. "What you say?" She asked. "Tete I don't know I'm just tryna play the game." He said grinning. "Mhm." She said.

She walked into Jadens bedroom and found Jaden slumped. She had no problem going over and waking him up. She started tickling him until she seen a smile slowly start to appear on his face. "Hi tete baby." She whispered. He started to quietly laugh. "Hi." He said. "You ain't gonna get up and give tete a hug?" She said. He shook his head yes and got up.

With no warning, he jumped into Honeys arms. "Jaden you a little too big for that now." She said. He started to pout. "But I want you to pick me up." He frowned. "You can walk. You're a big boy remember." Honey said. His smile came back. "Yeah I'm a big boy." He said. "You are." Honey said laughing.

"That nigga ain't big." Marcus said walking into the room. He had a towel wrapped around his lower body leaving his muscles out. Honey couldn't help but to let her eyes wander around his body. "Nigga I am big." Jaden yelled. Honeys eyes widened. She quickly covered Jadens mouth and told him to run before Marcus got a hold of him.

"Lord what are you teaching these kids? I almost had to knock Mj shoulders off his head when I was walking in." Honey said. "Man they teaching they self. I try to watch what I say because I know they pick up on everything but they know what they be doing. Ima start whooping they lil ass." Marcus said.

"Aht aht! Don't hit my babies. That's my job." Honey said smiling. "Well do yo job then. Cause they still bad as fuck." Marcus said. "Yeah yeah. But look I gotta go. I just wanted to come say hi cause I haven't seen y'all in a while. Take care." Honey said as she walked towards the door.

She was stopped by Marcus grabbing her arm. "Wait." He said. Honey already knew what he wanted and didn't have time for it. "Nuh un. Not right now Marcus. We'll talk later." Was all she said before walking out.

"Bye babies." She said as she entered back into the living room. Jaden ran over to her. "Tete Mj won't let me play the game." He cried. "I got you." She whispered. "Can tete get a hug?" She asked Mj. "Yeah." He said. He got up and have her a hug. Before he could stop her, she ran over to the game and unplugged it. "Bye!" She yelled speeding out the door.

Honey walked back into her house and found a note on the fridge. That read " Going out tonight. Don't wait up! - Hot momma." She started to shake her head. "This lady so damn nasty." She said to herself.

She figured since she had the house to herself she would finally study. She had no distractions and knew if she wanted it to be done, she needed to do it now. She procrastinated so much and had to put a stop to it.

It was as if god was trying to be funny, her phone rang. "Aaliyah I'm really tryna study right now and here you go disrupting me. AGAIN. What is it?" Honey asked. She heard silence on the end of the line. "Ummm hello? Liyah?" She said.

"Oh Honey you won't believe this! It's Jameson. He's out! He's out of jail!"
