Hi !

Here a prompt proposed by JVH624

It was already answered by Dr-Cokebottles

And I think monicacantwrite wanted to do it as well, aren't you?

Once again, I edited this story myself so there are surely many mistakes.

I hope you'll enjoy it !

Her laughter

Daoming Si was hardly thinking straight.

What happened to him?

It was a reflex, a bloody reflex. This actress erupted in front of them, Shancai yelled and he had wanted to protect her, he did a karate move to what he considered a threat. It was only when he saw that person on the floor when it was too late, that he realized he made a mistake. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Shancai, petrified, observing the actress, and he caught her hand, running away from the attraction as fast as possible.

What a stupid boy he was!

There was a beginning of complicity between them in that haunted house. At first, before they came in, she smiled radiantly, brightly at him, then she took his hand; giving him some electrical discharges in his whole body.

She held his arm, allowing him to be closer to her at last, protecting herself behind him. She laughed, teasing him when he startled. As for him, he had fun making her scream and she playfully hit his arm, half angry, half laughing.

And he messed everything once again with his usual idiocies!

Still dragging Shancai behind him, they came across tourists who were commenting what just happened in the haunted house, the attraction was closed momentarily. Daoming Si looked down to hide his face and sped up to move away as quickly as possible from this place.

When he thought he was far enough from that damned attraction, he collapsed on a bench next to a carousel and looked at his feet, ashamed. He felt Shancai sitting next to him, being silent as well.

He anguished because of her silence.

He thought he would prefer she yelled at him, she hit him, she glared at him. He undoubtedly disappointed her once again!

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed she bent over, her body shaken by compulsive tremors. He panicked. Was she crying? He wanted to slap himself! He made her shed tears once again!

He looked at her, ready to apologize, but he froze when he saw her.

She wasn't crying.

She was laughing.

Looking to the ground, her hand holding her belly, she was shaking with an uncontrollable burst of laughter. Daoming Si was surprised at first then he felt offended and, pursing his lips, frowning; he sank against the back of the bench, his arms crossed, pouting.

She wasn't mad at him.

But that was worse!

She was laughing at him!

She suggested a date at last and what did he do? He made a fool of himself! He just wanted to disappear from the face of the earth.

Shancai glanced at him, saw his posture and tried to calm down, slightly straightening up. "All right, I stop to laugh!" she said.

Daoming Si turned toward her but, making eye contact, she laughed again. He sighed, irritated. "You're laughing again, stop that!" He complained.

But it was a lost cause. Still shaking with a burst of laughter, she looked at him, trying to talk to him, being unable to hide her hilarity. "Daoming Si, did you hear what said a tourist? He said that someone was so afraid of that ghost woman he almost knocked her out!"

Daoming Si still stared at his feet, but Shancai's laughter was contagious and he ended to burst into laughter as well. He looked at her, smiling. She was still staring at him, happily laughing, and she continued; "Daoming Si! You must be number 1 on the trending topic!"

Once again, he couldn't help but laugh with her, her happiness being communicative. Then he observed her. Shancai never let loose with him and seeing her behaving that way confused him a lot. Her eyes were shining with joy and mischief and he was mesmerized by them. Her whole face lit up, her cheeks were getting slightly pink and her smile was sparkling.

She shone with happiness.

She was simply beautiful.

Irresistible.

Without realizing it, his face became more serious and Shancai noticed it. Her laugh faded, her smile slightly stiffened and she looked inquiringly at him. With an extreme tenderness; Daoming Si reached her face, pulling a strand of her hair away from her face, placing it behind her ear.

"What are you doing?" she nervously asked.

But he couldn't stop anymore. With a lump in his throat, a flutter in his heart, he was moved by what he just saw. Moved, confused and definitively in love. He sincerely hoped he could watch her laughing again, even if she was laughing at him. He would make a fool of himself on purpose if that was necessary because he wanted her to look at him that way as often as possible.

Very slowly, to not rush her, he leaned toward her. He couldn't resist anymore. At first, she looked at him, petrified, then, slowly, she closed her eyes and she drew her lips up to him. His heart skipped a beat.

Shancai was ready and even eager to share that kiss with him.

He couldn't have been happier.

Their lips were about to touch when, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Xiaoyou and her stupid boyfriend approaching. The young woman was about to call them when she met Daoming Si's dark glare. She closed her mouth, surprised and, deliberately ignoring them, Daoming Si captured his lover's lips.

As usual, a plethora of feelings invaded his body, like fireworks. He felt Shancai sighing with pleasure and he mentally screamed his joy. She didn't reject him anymore; she didn't resist him anymore. She offered him her smile, her laughter, her happiness, and even her lips. He was sure she had given her heart to him as well, but she didn't admit it yet.

He deepened the kiss, posing his hand on the young girl's nape while she wrapped her arms around his neck.

Seen, he would stop, come back to earth, face her friend and good-for-nothing boyfriend.

But tonight, he would manage to make Shancai laugh again.

And soon, yes, surely soon, she would also admit she loved him back.
