Take a seat. I'll help you clean them off.

They move to a table and he helps her take her skates off. They grab napkins and wipe them down.

TORIE

Thanks.

JAXSON

This game is getting out of hand. I can't even go to the bathroom without watching my back. It's got to stop.

TORIE

If someone makes a Tagg during our video shoot one more time, I'm going to lose it.

JAXSON

The crazy thgn is, you haven't been on your phone all night. There's gotta be something seriously wrong.

TORIE

I left it in the car. I don't need any distractions right now. I'm trying to stay focused. Unlike everyone else, I'm a professional.

JAXSON

You're stressing  yourself out way too much. I'm stressing out now. I don't think I've seen you take not one breath since we got here.

Torie takes a deep breath, exhales.

JAXSON

Feels better doesn't it?

TORIE

Not really.

She laughs.

JAXSON

That works too.

TORIE

I have a confession to make. I was so close to cutting you out of the song. To cutting you off in general.

JAXSON

So what changed your mind?

TORIE

You weren't just the love of my life. You were my best friend. And my goody-two-shoes brother taught me that it's not okay to throw away the people you care about.

JAXSON

I have a confession too. I still care about you too. Always have. Always will. Maybe things won't ever go back to the way they were, but I haven't given up on us. You're still the love of my life.

Torie's conflicted. Does she feel the same way?

ARCADE

Eric and Mo are playing Dance Dance Revolution. Both are wearing glowing slotted 80's glasses. Someone comes by and Taggs Eric making him and Mo lose their steps.

ERIC

Seriously?

A few feet away, Brandy and Josh are trying to win a stuffed animal at the crane machine. Someone Taggs Brandy and runs off.

Brandy

So dumb.

In another part of the arcade, Shae and Tristen are racing each other in a two-seated car machine. Shae zooms past Tristen for the win.

SHAE

And the winner is Shae. I'm really good at beating you.

TRISTEN

I'm just wondering where you've been sneaking off to play video games.

SHAE

I'm just a really good driver. Thanks to you.

TRISTEN

I didn't teach you to drive like that.

SHAE

Remember when you used to practice with me in the parking lot. We'd be there for hours. I know I was getting on your nerves, but you never lost your patience with me. You were a trooper. Always there when I needed you.

TRISTEN

You were there for me too. I don't know if I would have made it this far if it weren't for you and Torie having my back.

SHAE

You would have. And you will.

She takes his hand. They stare into each others eyes and just when they're about to kiss—someone Taggs Shae before running off. They turn and see Savannah standing near the entrance, fuming. She walks out.
