Shawn, I absolutely love everything about you. The fact that you write songs about really important, personal issues (like Youth and In My Blood) instead of meaningless things is so admirable. The things you say and write about make you seem so mature for your age, which is a shock considering you act like a 5 year old most of the time. Whenever I'm in a bad mood, I listen to your songs or watch edits of you on Instagram and I instantly feel better. I didn't become part of the Mendes Army properly until last year but I love being part of this fandom. I didn't know about you until I heard 'Believe' on Disney channel. Since then I heard and instantly loved many of your songs. I have very embarrassing stories connected to 'Treat You Better' and 'Stitches'. You're goofy, childish and probably the clumsiest person alive but I am so grateful that I found you.
