Taste Of The Rainbows

On a warm, white sky,

With big, fluffy clouds

 There came a colourful rainbow

From among the feathery clouds!

Of wondrous hues and bright chromes

Of sartorial elegance and guilty entice,

I wonder what each colour would taste like,

If only I could get a slice!

Violet would taste a mild bitter

Prolly like brinjal of royal aubergine

And Indigo like the dark night Sky

Of delicious, sumptuous blueberries, I've seen!

Light blue like the serene waters

Flavourful tastelessness, I can't explain

Or probably like blue coloured Gatorade, the energy drink,

'Tis only flavoured, tinted water, at least not mundane!

Or Green, leafy vegetables, suggested by doctors

All sorts of tastes you'd generally dislike!

Capsicum, spinach and bitter gourd so sour,

But they are nutritious and wholesome, your mom would strike!

And golden Yellow, oh so fresh

Cheddar Cheese and potato fry

Or citrous lemon and sweet corn

Maybe this is where are guilty pleasures lie!

Orange juice, sunny and fun!

Or carrots that we stole from the bunny!

Followed by scarlet, sweet, savoury, sapid strawberry!

Which legit zooooooom down my tummy!

And oh so delicious are these shades of nature!

They bring so much content and pleasure

Be thankful you live in a colourful world!

With multitudes of tastes, I could ever measure, even at leisure!
