The aliens had come without warning, they seemed peaceful at first but I guess they didn't like something about our planet, perhaps the politics, it pissed everybody off. They attacked us, starting in major cities like Detroit, Moscow, London, ect. They worked their way out, but somehow never touched Africa. Well, not until recently. They've taken over most of the cities on most contenents. Now they're advancing to the smaller towns and rural areas. They have yet to take over the strongholds in the country side, places where news is seldom heard, they figured it would be a while until anybody there caught wind of the attacks. I was captured long ago, I'm being forced to mine precious metals and other materials for them. They studied us for so long before attacking, they know all there is to know about humans. But they forgot a huge part of the earth's population. They forgot the animals. Just last week, I heard the overseers talk about how they were mauled by a large, fluffy, black creature while investigating a stronghold in Wisconsin. It had huge paws and a huge body, with small eyes and small ears and a small nose. They described the claws, and I knew. I knew it was none other than a black bear. They lost a whole regiment to these creatures. I can't wait to find out what else they encounter. Maybe some day they'll set us free and leave, just because of the animals. They never prepared for the animals.
