ciara's pov me and chase were snuggled up on the couch watching a film. we hadn't spoken about what happened yesterday but i was really hoping it wasn't just a one time thing.
about halfway through the film the doorbell went, i got out of chases grip and went to the door. when i had opened it a saw a face i thought i would never see again. "josh!" i sat excitedly as i just into his arms wrapping my legs around his waist. "hey ciara" he says. after a couple of seconds he put me back down on the floor and we pulled away. "what are you doing here, i thought i would see you again" "well my family decided to move back here and i thought i would quickly come say hey seeming as we haven't seen eachother in awhile" "but i better get going now, do you still have the same number?" he asked i nodded. "well i'll see you around ciara" "byee"
as he walked off i shut the door and went back to the couch. "who was that?" chase asked as i sat down. "josh" i said. he looked at me confused. "as in my ex that moved away" "oh" chase nodded. "do you think you're gonna get back together now he's back?" chase asked the tone in his voice changing.
"i don't know i mean we never lost feelings for eachother, the only reason we broke up was because he was moving away and didn't think he would cope with a long distance relationship"
"i guess, i'm gonna go to sleep, i'm tired" chase said getting up. he seemed annoyed but i didn't know why.
i had decided to go up to bed aswell, i went to my room and jumped on my bed checking my phone.

josh hey i know this is probably gonna sound too soon seeming as i just moved back after 2 years of being away but i never lost feelings for you and even though we broke up cause i didn't think i could manage a long distance relationship i still thought about you all the time. i just wanted to know if you wanted to start things up again.

☁︎ ☀︎ ☁︎ i ran to chases room. "chase" i whispered-shouted. "yea?" he asked sitting up. "we got back together" i said smiling. "cool" chase still seemed annoyed. "chase what's up with you you seem annoyed?" i asked "what do you expect ciara, yesterday i tell you how i feel and then you kiss me and tell me you like me too which made me think i actually had a chance with you then you go and get back together with your ex and i'm meant to be happy for you." i tear started to form in my eye. "chase i'm sorry" "no ciara, sorry's not gonna fix this. you knew how i felt yet you still go and hurt me. i'm going back home tomorrow"
