M'aiq the Liar x F!Khajiit Reader
I quickly dodged the sword aimed for my stomach and stumbled backwards as another blow hit my shield. I was panicking, my mind all scrambled up. I couldn't think straight. My dodges were getting slower as I started to run out of energy.
'I don't think I can keep this up...' I had been ambushed on the road to Dawnstar by a group of bandits that proved to be more difficult than I had previously thought. I felt an arrow pierce my sword arm, my sword dropping to the ground. I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from screaming in pain. One of the bandits kicked my sword farther away from me as the started to make a circle around me.
"What should we do with her boss?" one of the men asked. I felt fear take me as I closed my eyes ready for the pain, ready for the words that 'kill her'. This was the end..
"Kill her." The leaders voice was cold, colder than the biting winds of Windhelm, Winterhold, and Dawnstar combined. I screamed as I felt a blade stab my stomach. My legs started to wobble and I fell to the snowy ground. My breathing was ragged. I listened to the crunching of the snow under boots as the bandits walked away. I kept my eyes closed as felt myself go.
I felt warmth surrounding me. That's not right. Wasn't I on the road to Dawnstar? Panic passed through my body, I couldn't be dead! I jolted up but immediately lay back down. I opened my eyes through the pain to see a man, well Khajiit staring at me.
"W-who?" I managed to get out in a whisper.
"M'aiq found this one on the road to Dawnstar. This one had been stabbed pretty bad. Does this one have a home M'aiq can take this one to?" His eyes seemed to glitter in the fire light. His voice soothed my nerves and I started to relax.
"No.." I felt a pang of homesickness hit me.
"Hmmm... M'aiq will let this one stay in his camp, but this one has to leave when this one is healed." I nodded and as I let sleep take me.
It had take a month and now I was fully healed. In that month I had grown quite fond of M'aiq. I'm not sure if he was fond of me. He could be quite grumpy at times, especially when I annoyed him.
"Does this one have everything?" His voice had so much worry in it. I didn't understand why. He didn't seem to fond of me, so why was he worrying?
"Yeah, I have everything. If I really worry you that much, than just join me on my adventures!" I laughed, even if I had meant the last part as a joke, I still kinda wanted him to join me on my adventures.
"M'aiq just might join this one.." He said. I had never seen him look so serious in the short time that I have known him.
