Clouded Eyes, Clouded Heart

Chapter 1

Yusei~~~

Yusei woke up to the sound of Jack and Crow arguing about something stupid. He felt his dog Rocky, who is a golden retriever. He has the ability to turn into a Maned Wolf with antlers. Then he goes by the name Kalu when in that form.

Rocky moved up next to Yusei, and licked his face. Making Yusei smile, but it went away when he heard another yell from Jack and Crow. He turned to his side, "will they ever learn Rocky?" Yusei just heard Rocky pant and nudge his hand asking him to pet him. Yusei smiled again and searched for Rocky's head and scratched there.

Yusei decided to get up and get dress. He never knows what he wears, but Rocky makes sure he doesn't dress like a clown. (So the readers know he is wearing a black denim jacket with a black shirt and dark blue ripped jeans.) Before Yusei put on the jacket Rocky picked out he grazed his hand over his arm, feeling all the cuts he made on it. He did the same with the other, he could feel tears fill his eyes but didn't let them fall. He put on his jacket and waited for Rocky to get his vest. Yusei felt the vest on his hand and carefully put it on Rocky.

  He grabbed the the hard leash that is on guide dogs and let Rocky lead him downstairs.

"Shut your gosh darn mouth Crow!!" Was the first thing Yusei heard when he walked out of his room. He closed his door and faced towards the direction of the yelling, " Shut up! You guys are going to wake up the whole city if you don't stop!" He yelled. Jack and Crow looked over to Yusei and saw him carefully walking down the stairs. Crow awkwardly smiles, " sorry Yus. We didn't mean to wake you up." "It's alright I had to get up at some point anyway." Yusei heard Jack scoff, "what wrong with you?" Crow started slightly laughing, "this guy thought it would be a good idea to argue about who gets the tv." Yusei raised an eyebrow, "you woke me up yelling and arguing almost ripping each other's throats out, for who get the tv?" Crow nodded and looked to Jack, " sadly yes." Yusei rolled his eyes in disbelief.

Jack~~~

Jack looked into Yusei's cloudy blue eyes, they are filled with pain. Help him. Be there for him. Was the only voice in his head. He walked to the couch grabbed the remote and turned on the tv and threw the remote to Crow, "there you go you can have it." "Thanks!" Yusei smiled, "now that what I call a compromise." Jack rolled his eyes, but also hid his blushing.

   God why does he have to be so cute! Wait! What am I thinking? Jack was kicked out of his thoughts when Crow was calling his name and waving his hand in his face, " Jack?" "What do you want now?" Crow smiled, "nothing you just spaced out on us." Jack scoff and looked at the tv, I really need to stop, but I can't.... Jack stood up and walked to his room, he closed the door behind him a flopped onto his bed, ugh Yusei!! Why won't you get out of my head!!

Yusei~~~

  Yusei heard Jack close his door and he looked back at Crow, " I'm going to be in my room for a while, call if you need anything." Crow nodded and walked to the couch.

  Yusei walked up the stairs Rocky by his side, he put his hand on the knob and opened he door. Closing it behind him he took off his jacket exposing the scars on his arms. He walked over to his phone and turned on a song he did a cover on. It was I'm a Mess by Bebe Rexha, and instead of he, he changed it to she to hide the fact that he loves Jack.

   As the song played he grazed his hands over his arms to feel the scars. As he touched them he felt tears and he let them fall. He sat on his bed. Rocky turned into Kalu and he sat next to Yusei, "it's alright. You have friends Yus, they are here for you." Yusei lifted his head, his eyes were even more clouded, "those guys? They act like they care, but..." "they do care!!" Yusei widened his eyes. Kalu calmed down for a sec, "you have to stop thinking like this. We all care about you and worry about you. If you just stop and listen you will notice it."

Yusei laid down in the bed under the covers and tried to get some more sleep. Kalu turned back to Rocky and laid next to Yusei.

Yusei woke up and wiped sweat off of his forehead, another nightmare. Yusei checked his clock, 6:55 pm. Yusei sat up, he had thought about everything Kalu said, and they weren't true. He knew what he had to do.
